Hippie Crossbody Bag Thai Top Zip Hobo Sling Bag Handmade Hipster Messenger Bag

When I was in Bangkok I wanted to get one of them batik fabric hobo bags that were sold all over that big swap meet market but I could not find one that was not cheesy, decent in quality, and compact. I saw this on Amazon I thought I would give it a shot, hoping it would fit my height (5'3") and in good workmanship. I was not disappointed.1. Wide strap that is not too long. the width makes it comfortable to carry cross body. the shorter strap length won't let the bag swing around too much. if you are tall and/or wide, you may feel the strap length lacking.2. Fabric has decent thread count and print is cute. This adult coloring floral print (BTW, the seller just use a peacock print bag that was sold out to list this bag therefore don't take the product name literally) and the muted colors go with a lot of outfit colors.3. Twill fabric lining all over the bag that gives the bag good structure and ability to carry a heavy load. The sewing is overall fine (I checked every seam). I also like the oatmeal color. Most bags like this use thin cotton black lining (if it was lined). It's hard to find stuff in a black abyss.4. one larger outside zip pocket, one smaller inside zip pocket, and one smaller open pocket make this bag more user friendly.5. bucket shape to accommodate water bottle and other bulkier items. The interior size of this bag is not big enough for 3-ring binder or larger size textbook if you want to use it as a school bag. It is also not large enough for 15" or larger notebook pc. Smaller tablets would fit.If there's a con, it'd be the zipper. The zipper size is not robust. However, the zipper top closure is not difficult to replace if the current zipper would be shot. If you can sew, you can replace the top closure zipper. Also, some complained about the smell. The smell is from it being stored in warehouse. It's a vintage fabric smell, nothing to be concerned about. After 3 weeks of daily use, the musty smell is no more (I did not wash the bag before using).

I love this purse (bag)! It’s nice looking, comfortable and roomy. I love the outside zip up pocket, inner zip up pocket, and inner zipper-less pocket. The main compartment zips up, too (there are two VERY small openings at either end of the main zipper - not a problem for me). It has a grey lining on the interior, making it easier to see the items inside and making the purse stronger and more durable. The strap is long enough that I can wear it as a crossbody, but it does take a little bit of effort to slip on since the strap isn’t all that long. Some people may not find it comfortable as a crossbody, though. Also, it has a tendency to slip off if I’m just wearing it over my shoulder, unless I adjust the position or hold it with one hand. As for the color, the elephants are tan and brown on a black background. It looks great and I’m very happy with the colors (but I did think it was white on black when I ordered it). Since I use it as a purse, I have to use small zip up bags (Pac It Sac) inside to keep small items organized and easy to find. That’s an adjustment, but I love having the extra space and a good looking purse. I’m very happy with my purchase and use it regularly!

I bought this bag to be a travel bag of sorts. I wanted it to carry my phone and wallet etc in, but it's actually pretty big. It ended up being too big for what I wanted so I re-purposed it. Or maybe just reassigned it's duty. When we go on road trips or on visits to family, I carry all our phone & tablet cables still plugged into the power strip we use at home. It's easier to just unplug that strip, wrap the cords around the bar & stuff it into a bag than to pack each cord separately. This bag worked great for that. It easily held my laptop power cord, the power bar with charging plugs & cords for 3 devices and a 10.5" tablet with room to spare. The zipper at the top of the bag keeps everything contained and secure. There's also a zipper pocket where we stored USB drives & some micro SD cards. The one thing I don't like about it is strictly cosmetic. The lining of the bag is made of denim & it's sewn in wrong side out. It's minor and makes no difference with the function of the bag. It's just annoying to me. The bag is made well & the fabric on the outside is nice. I bought the blue & yellow striped one.

This bag is very well made, and excellent quality. It is deep and has a lot of room. I love the fact it has a zipper closure. This is perfect for securing your valuables. A lot of hobo bags are open, or just have a partial snap closure. I would’ve given it 5 stars had the crossbody feature been longer. For me personally, it wasn’t really long enough. I believe it is due to body type, and is in no way a reflection of the product. It hung right at my hip and the strap kept riding up my neck. I am not small framed, but I am not large either. However, I do have broad shoulders. I did read the measurements when ordering, but it still came up short for me when I tried to wear it crossbody. I love the bag so much, I decided to keep it despite this fact. I’ll just use it over my shoulder. I can’t wait to take it to Sedona, AZ.

The Hippie Crossbody Hobo Bag comes in 10 colors. It is made of cotton. It measures 30 x 4.20 centimeters. I love the quality and thickness of this bag. The stitching is heavy and of high quality. Zipper closure on top and also, there is a small zippered areain the front for things you want to get to easily; car keys, tissues, money. The bag is completely lined so I expect it to last quite a while. Wipe clean with cold water. The strap is 24 to 26 inches and is not adjustable. I am 5 foot 2 inches and the purse hits below my hip. From the top of my thigh my knees it rests midway. You will not be disappointed in this hobo sling bag. I'm planning on taking it to the beach. Designs are awesome! A good quality bag that exceeded my expectations.I highly recommend.

It's a pretty nice bag but it could use more pockets. I do like pretty much everything else about it.

Live this bag the colours and design is fab , however , the strap is far to short for a cross overI have kept it and had it amended and adjusted from the strap an extra 10 inches of material plain black added feels much better now 😁
