High loft, great quality
This is a high loft yarn without much twist. This means it works up into a super soft super warm garment that needs a bit of TLC. I found it a tiny bit difficult to come into the initial chain stitches because the loft would cause the yarn to separate, but once I got past that, it was glorious. The trick I found was to manipulate the strands of the next chain to separate them with my fingers before trying to stitch into it. That made it easier. For a beginner, that might be an issue. I don’t think it’s an issue for beginning knitters. It doesn’t split such that you’ll get extra stitches. It’s too obvious when you don’t have the whole loop. It works up super fast, which is expected at this thickness of yarn.It is a subtle shift for color to color, and the repeats are very long. I’m doing a 7-foot-long scarf worked length-wise mostly single crochet and the color shift happens every 3 ½ or so rows. It’s a bit of a “sticky” yarn, so weaving in ends is exceptionally easy with this. The yardage is generous. I went by weight, and I think I have twice as much yarn as I need. That’s fine. I’ll make two scarves. Just be mindful, check yardage not weight with this.I can see buying more of this in the future. It’s quite good.

soft
This yarn is lovely, Haven't washed it yet. Only possible drawback--for the life of me I couldn't find either end!!! Not in the middle barf and not on the outside. Probably just me. Had to cut and make my own end.

Love this yarn
I really like this yarn. It’s a soft yarn, very easy to knit with. I made a cabled scarf and hat, and the cables were nice and crisp. This yarn is a hair thicker than worsted weight (4) but not as thick as most bulky yarn (5). I would say it’s about 4.5 thickness. In one of my skeins the yarn ended and new yarn was knotted on, but the yarn didn’t match, which made for a harsh color transition in the scarf. So I ripped that out and then unraveled the skein until I got matching color and knit from there. I used the extra unraveled yarn to make a pom-pom for the hat. Despite that I liked the yarn enough to buy more skeins in different color ways.

I'm thankful to have found this yarn on Amazon. The 3pack is what I needed to finish off my project.
I like the color combinations & softness off it.Becareful on the pulling easy breakage, other than that it a good one.

So beautiful!
I'm making a 72" x 72" square diagonal blanket. I absolutely love the color transitions... so subtle. The yarn thickness does vary throughout the skein some, but this adds to a bohemian style look and adds to, not detracts from, the appearance of my blanket, IMO. The variation in thickness might be a challenge from some beginners. I love Lion Brand yarns and this one in particular is soft and easy to work with. I will definitely be buying other colors and highly recommend it.

Knots
Awful. Both balls I bought have knots joining completely different variations of the colors so you don’t have the beautiful flow of one color to the next unless you want to sit there & Frankenstein your own balls first.
