You can't go wrong with Blue Buffalo Wilderness!
Words cannot express how much we love this food. Being that our beloved dogs rely on us to feed them a quality diet, we only feel comfortable feeding them the best we can. Aside from cooking them a specially made meal, or buying one of the new refrigerated meals, we feel blue buffalo wilderness is the best you can get. We have a beautiful, loyal bloodhound we feed the large breed formula and a loving goldendoodle puppy we feed the puppy formula. Our bloodhound has a beautiful coat and at the age of 5, which is getting up there for his age, he's still very active and happy. We see no signs of any joint problems and he's never been sick. This food has served him very well. As for the goldendoodle, when we got him from the breeder, he was 8 weeks old and eating taste of the wild, which is another high quality grain free food. His stool was softer and he had a bowel movement 4-6 times a day making it difficult to potty train him. I initially was going to wait till he was older to switch him to blue buffalo but due to the difficulty training him due to the amount of movements he had I went ahead and started switching him over by blending blue buffalo in with his meals. I expected that by doing this his stool would get softer due to the transition but it was just the opposit! The more blue I mixed in the firmer his stool and less movements! I ended up switching him completely within 4 days because he was doing so much better on the blue buffalo wilderness. It's been a couple weeks now and he only has 2-3 bowel movements a day instead of 4-6 and is almost completely potty trained. In addition, when we got him, his coat was a dull red. I hoping within time this food will shine up his coat like it does for our bloodhound. To sum this up, you can't go wrong with any variety of Blue Buffalo Wilderness. It's a great food with excellent nutritional benefits. It cost more than your average grain free food but is worth every penny. You will find you feed less of it and also have less stools without sacrificing the health of your beloved friend.

The search is over for my French Bulldogs!!
I have two french bulldogs. I have done absolutely everything to keep them healthy. One is nearly 12 the other 3 years old. My older dog was vomiting ALL the time and my younger one was chewing the pads of his feet apart and most recently, throwing up. I've been buying them premium dog food their whole lives or so i thought) and have added salmon oil and greens to their diet which did help with their coat and my older dog's hips/joints, but not their upset stomachs. I know that Frenchies have a very sensitive system but this was getting ridiculous! My oldest daughter recently got french bulldog puppy and put her puppy on a completely raw diet of "Stella and Chewy's". She swears by the frozen patties and wanted me to at least give it a try. Well, given that I live far away from the nearest pet store that sells raw/frozen food, I decided to research different premium foods that would be similar to raw. I came across Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain Free Dry Dog Food, Salmon Recipe, 24-Pound Bag here on Amazon, and after reading the reviews decided to give it a try. I wasn't sure because with the wolf on the cover I thought that maybe it was for larger breeds, but that's not the case AT ALL.After the past couple of months of having my Frenchies on this dog food ALL throwing up has ceased. There has been zero incidences. The pads of my youngest dog are healed up and he no longer needs to wear a cone around his neck to keep him from chewing at them. They have ENERGY, they are healthy and it is like a total miracle! I can't say enough about the quality of this dog food, but it has literally changed the way my dogs act, feel and look. I HIGHLY recommend this dog food to anyone who may have similar circumstances. I was literally resigned to believe that all Frenchies just threw up and I would have to deal with it. NOT TRUE. This has totally changed our lives and the lives of our dogs.A++++ Keep up the good work Blue Buffalo!

More natural food for my pets...
My dog LOVES this stuff! She gets excited for meal times. I like the idea of a more natural approach to what I was previously feeding my pets (Pedigree and Friskies for the kitties). This is by far more expensive - double the cost of what we were feeding her. But she seems to have begun to eat less of this than the Walmart fare. She would eat the old brand and still seem hungry. She'd eat the whole bag if you let her, then get into the garbage closet if someone didn't close it all the way. Argh! It was frustrating! With this more natural brand she seems to get full faster, and is definitely more satisfied after she's eaten. She no longer scrounges for something more to put in her belly. This in itself is a miracle. We've had her for 8 years and she's always had some neuroses. She is a rescue dog - she was a breeder in a puppy mill left outside in a cage too small for a German Shepherd. She'd lived a horrible life before we found her. One of her major quirks is food. Like she could never get enough, as though she was never Given enough when she was at that puppy mill. For some reason - and I don't really know what that reason is - but this food has helped her in ways I never thought anything could. After having her since 2008, this is the first time she's been able to eat then settle down and not go scrounging for more. After this many years with her, I'm pretty convinced that the two are somehow related. She's happier now at and after mealtimes for sure - so we're happy too!We also got the treats from Blue Buffalo and Oh My Goodness - she goes bonkers for those! Great brand - I'm sold. The money difference is worth it. Besides - if we humans in the house eat well - why shouldn't our pets?
