I had high hopes for this necklace because I love the design. But when it arrived, I was sorely disappointed. This necklace is nothing more than a piece of plastic covered in very poorly done electroplating. The edges of the pendant are ridged and rough, as if the piece was stamped out of a sheet of plastic and didn't get any sanding or finishing before heading to the electroplating station. And the "gold" is a very artificial-looking golden yellow the color of Goldfish crackers. Overall, this necklace has the look and feel of a toy pirate necklace from the kid's treasure box at the dentist's office. Sending back for a refund.

This product is exactly what I was looking for to accessorize a dress for a wedding! The metal is shiny and sturdy. I bought the matching earrings to go along with it, as well as some shiny studs since my ears are double pierced and I think this will be the perfect touch!
