Luke's Beach Day: A Fun and Educational Kids Yoga Story (Kids Yoga Stories) Paperback – May 7, 2013

This book is meant for ages 3+ and I am looking forward to purchasing Maria's day at the ocean for the younger kids. Love all of Giselle's book as they are easy to follow and have beautiful illustrations! Thank you to the author for wonderful kids yoga books :)

I use this when I teach youngsters yoga. It goes well with a summer or beach themed class, and the kids love stopping every so often in the story to try the poses. Best for beginners.

I highly recommend Luke's Beach Day! It's a very accessible little book that teaches kids both about conservation and yoga. My 4 year old daughter loves it. She especially enjoys doing the different recommended yoga poses as we read the book together. I think the interactive nature of this book with the recommended yoga poses along with an interesting beach story makes it unique.

Another great book by Giselle Shardlow for teaching yoga to children. The beach theme is great for summer classes and the children love the poses.

I love acting out stories with my nieces and nephews, and I know we are going to love doing all the yoga poses while we read this together. Plus, throw in a few lessons about taking care of our environment. What a clever idea for a fun way to teach and share with the little darlings in our lives!

Nicely illustrated, not too fussy. Nice poses easy to copy. Explains what you might do at the beach (except see kangaroos in England) which is what I wanted for a Nursery class, but book is better for information rather than a story.
