I bought this bag for a personal travel bag rather than a daily laptop bag. It does fit my 15" laptop easily, but I'll probably never carry the laptop in this bag (I have a different bag for work). This was packaged nicely and not overly folded like some bags- I hate when they fold the base part and it gets a crease - this one came out great.Exterior: The material has more of a canvas feel than I expected, I thought it would be slicker, I like this better. Handles are a great length for me (I'm 5'8" tall), they seem sturdy, it does not come with a shoulder strap. There is one exterior slip pocket, no other exterior pockets, no luggage sleeve. The main zipper zips fully and it feels like the contents are secure if it should tip over. I expected this bag would be very soft-sided and not stand on its own - I was correct, it will not stand on its own. The bottom does seem to remain flat when lifted even without the insert I tried.Interior: The material is a little stiffer than a standard purse liner, somewhat slick, but not silky, looks like it would wipe clean easily. The laptop area has a padded separator and easily holds a 15" laptop with room to spare. There is a centered zippered area that is the full length of the bag. One side has a zippered pocket, and the other one has 2 slip pockets with 2 pen slips.I thought I would try an insert - I used a plastic book tote (15"x6.25") and it works - the bag will stand on its own with the insert and you can still fit the laptop in. Not sure if I will actually use it with the insert - might be an inch too wide for my preference.I plan to use this for road trips (possibly plane trips as a personal item) - to pack the family's toiletries, chargers, an iPad, etc. It's a nice simple bag at an affordable price.

This thing is both super cute and super functional. I had been carrying around two bags with me back and forth to work, one for my laptop and a large purse for everything else. Seeing as how this is a daily occurance for me I decided to just combine them into one bag and this one is perfect!Tons of room but also several different compartments to help keep things organized. Includes a padded section for a computer/tablet/other electronic device, a large zippered pocket, a couple other compartments of various sizes including a smaller zippered pocket, and a super convenient front pocket for things you need quick and easy access to. It also zips closed at the top. I've been able to carry two laptops, some file folders, and all of my regular purse items (although it was quite heavy!).The fabric is thick and feels very durable - I don't see this thing wearing out for a very long time. Same with the straps. I got the purple one and it is gorgeous - not super bright, but has a heathered look to it.I cannot say enough good things about this bag. I'm always a bit weary of buying stuff like this online but this did not disappoint!

I am old and this the first bag that actually fits all I want to carry and is not stuffed and unwieldy. I have 2 purse organizers (1 for billfold and business stuff and 1 for makeup and personal items). They are about 8 in wide. I can get both in this bag side by side length-wise, instead of on top of each other. This bag also allows me to carry an folding umbrella and poncho, sunglasses in a case and what's more there is room for a book or laptop and it all lays neat and flatl no bulging and stuffed-look. There is a pocket for a small pad of paper and a couple of little pockets to put pens. The zipper closure keeps things safe. No worries bout everything falling out if the purse tips over in the car. First time I do not need to dig or empty the whole purse to find what I want. All easy to see and find when purse is unzipped. I have just bought this in JUL 2020, so I do not know how long it will last, but without being stuffed and strained, I expect it to last longer. And the price ($30) is so good that even if it lasts a year and I replace it, I could buy this 4x and still be paying the typical price for this size of bag. But it looks well made so I expect more out of it. My only concern is the zipper is not as heavy duty as I expected on a bag this big, however it is not flimsy. I am very please with the purchase. And I highly recommend it. If it lasts a long time it will deserve more than 5 stars from me! If the 17 inch bag came in a turquoise or aqua color as well as the gray, I would buy another right away. Perhaps I will review this again in a year once I determine durability. If you need to carry around a lot of stuff, I say go for this bag!

This bag is great. It looks so classy and professional. It’s made of very sturdy material. The straps seem very strong. There is so much space inside. I am able to fit my laptop 2 text books, 2 spiral notebooks, 2 folders ,the charger, some pens and high lighters. The only thing I would say I am dissatisfied with is the placement of the Velcro latch to hold the laptop in place. It is too high up and the strap allows the laptop to be loose. If it were further down it would hold it more tightly. But the bag has a zipper so as long as you close it it shouldn’t shift too much.
