Yep, these are the ones you want. I suffer from a sleep disorder and also work nights, so I really needed something to turn my bedroom into a "cave" during the day. I tried other products, but none made my room dark like these do.The material is a high quality, satiny looking, high sheen heavy polyester with a black backing. Very well made and worth every penny. I would give them 10 stars if it was an option.Also, due to the heavy fabric, they definitely give a nice level of noise retardance for those of you that are wondering about that.I wondered before I ordered, "Are they truly going to be theater grade or will I get them and be disappointed?" They truly are theater grade and they are the real deal!All you night owls like me can find happy, restful sleep with these curtains. I have started dreaming again after years of horrible sleep, so I consider that the litmus test for good sleep.

Update: After a year these still look new. They are routinely pulled behind a curtain hook and show absolutely no sign of wear.I am by no means a curtain connoisseur, but I have spent 3 times the amount on curtains that were no where near the quality of these. I am very shocked these were only $23. Right out of the bag I could tell they were well made given the substantial and ultra soft feel. The stitching was straight and tightly woven. The blackout layer was even across the bottom. They also required hardly any steaming to get the initial packing wrinkles out. The curtains slid right onto the rod effortlessly. And mostly importantly, they are truly blackout curtains, and of great help to those who need to sleep with no light interference.

I found a number of similar curtains with mediocre reviews and photos of light coming through thin curtains. I'm glad I went with this one because it actually prevents any light from coming through.The only downside is the price. I thought it was a 2-pack, and it seems expensive for a single panel. It works well though so I ordered another despite the price.

These curtains block out almost all of the light coming through the window. These are definitely worth the price. My living room has 5 windows and I have blinds on each one but even with blinds the light still goes through. Once I put the curtains on, the living room got dark.

I got the Sun Zero Oslo Theater Grade Extreme 100% Blackouts to put on my Kenney Ball Standard Decorative Window Double Curtain Rods. I put the black out curtains closest to the windows, then my sheers on the inside so I see those instead. Also, closer to the window means more blackout effect. A+! The grommet version of these are in my living room and are easy to open and close because of those nice metal grommets sliding on the curtain rod. My bedroom has the pocket version, not grommets. They stick sometimes on the curtain rod. Make sure you mount the curtain rods ABOVE and OUT PAST the edge of your windows. I did 6 inches above, and 4 inches out past the edge of the windows. For maximum black out effect. Definitely wash the curtains before putting them up.Honestly, I have narcolepsy, so any tiny thing wakes me up but when I want to sleep, I want to SLEEEEEEEP! These are great for killing the sunlight, dampening road/neighbor noise, and insulating the window from cold winter drafts. 20/10, I will be putting these in my guest room as soon as I can afford to. The fancy toile curtains in both images are from Sin In Linen. They're expensive as heck. And wrinkly as heck because they're just bland plain cotton with print. But they have a corner on the "weird / goth" prints, so they get away with it.

I am so happy with this purchase! First of all I purchased the panels at another store for double the money! I was so happy to find these for so much less! I was able to do additional bedrooms.They definitely keeps light and noise out. I just purchased them in time for winter and my bedroom is the warmest in the house now! I would pay double for them as I know they’re saving me money on my electric bill. I’ve been able to lower my heat at night before bed by 2 more degrees!My bedroom is like a cave. I feel like I’m in a class a hotel and never know if it’s day or night. I’m extremely happy with this purchase. The panels look very classy and look like they cost hundreds. I’ll be buying more for additional rooms!

I think these may be an off-brand or just a cheaper version of Sun-Zero curtains. They have stitching that isn’t straight and the curtains shed like crazy. I have tons of little black hairs all over the place from these curtains. Also had a very chemical like smell for the first few days until they aired out.Do they block the light? Yes, very good at blacking out a room if you don’t mind the other little issues. They are a “value” for the money in that regards

These are total blackout curtains except for the thin amount of light that shines through on the top because they are not solidly against the window frame (I am sure this could be fixed if you needed no light coming in through the gap between the curtain rod and wall). This is the third pair I have tried on-line and the other's were not total blackout. If you need total blackout make sure you search on 100% or Total Blackout. I like the smooth fabric with no lint and no odor. I wonder if the lighter colors would be 100% blackout too? I bought the Navy color. I would like to try another pair in a lighter color.

Al principio compré un panel, ya que había visto reseñas las cuales decían que la cortina no cumplía con su función de bloqueo de la luz. Cómo pueden ver en foto que subí, en el lado izquierdo coloque la cortina y si cumple su función al 100%. Bloquea la luz solar, además de que se nota que son de gran calidad. Estoy satisfecho y ya pedí el segundo panel.

They're definitely not 100% blackout material.I bought these to redecorate the room. My old blackout curtains were very heavy and you couldn't see any light pass through them even if you put them up to your face, but you can see light pass through these. They are probably like 75% blackout but I can see many pinwholes and uneven sewing patterns that let light through.The navy ones seemed to be more blackout though the navy ones also had uneven stitching and pinholes, so my conclusion is that the backing is not true blackout material. If you have true blackout curtains the backing will do all the light blocking without it passing it through to the front.

These curtains are the closest ones to true blackout that I've been able to find anywhere. I have three of these in my bedroom that cover the windows and doorway and I literally cannot see my own hand in front of my eyes when they're drawn. Perfect for helping me sleep.If you're curious, put your face right up to the curtain during the middle of the day and you can see pinpricks of sunlight through the weave of the material. This has no negative impact on perceived brightness inside the room though. One layer over your window is enough to block out all the light.

Funcionan perfectamente, literalmente ahora mi cuarto es una cueva, si bien son un poco costosas, de verdad es una muy buena inversión, me pasaba de que en mis días libres trataba de descansar pero debido a la claridad del exterior me levantaba temprano y no lograba tener ese descanso deseado, ahora con estás cortinas verdaderamente puedo disfrutar de levantarme tarde esos días además de que disminuye el calor de la habitación. I have purchased many different blackout drapes over the years. So far these have been the best ones we have ever bought. It totally blocks out any light. Other then the little bit of light coming in from the top of the rod, you have no clue if it’s day or night when these are closed. For the price and the quality these are hands down the best drapes you will ever buy. The only comment I have is I wish they came in more colour options.
