Good game fun
Somebody here said they could not get the sound to work on this game. For me, Tomb Raider 1's sound would not play on my Windows XP. But Tomb Raider 2 and up work fine for me. As for the game, it's a major graphical improvement from Tomb Raider 1. The graphics are much smoother than more detail and movement went into creating the environments and Lara. Lara now has a swinging ponytail and drops of water fall off her after she goes swimming. Other than that it's pretty much the same game as TR1. You run, jump, shoot and flip switches. If you're a fan of the first game you'll be a fan of this one. TR2 still has the control problem of TR1 though. Mainly in jumping. I've found that holding down the jump button a half a second before you press the direction you want to go works best. It's not the responsive control system I'd hope for. But it's not as bad as other games.Graphics: 4.5 They're a lot better looking on the PC than Playstation.Sound: 4.0 The music is pretty good and Lara's grunts can be nicely heard.Control: 3.5 If only Lara would jump when I tell her to.Fun Factor: 4.5 The levels are done so well that searching for the next switch to flip never gets boring.

A must have for any Tomb raider fan or Collector !
A great addition to the series and any fans collection ! This very rare expansion contains the original Tomb Raider 2 , plus The Golden Mask , which sees Lara looking for The Golden Mask of Tarnarsuk . The expansion has four new levels , and a special 5th bonus level if you find the 3 secrets in each of the 4 main levels . The levels can be very long on a first play through which doesn't make it a feel a cheap , rushed cashgrab . The levels look great and it still feels like your continuing TR2 . This game also runs with no problems on modern systems and still looks amazing .

Tomb Raider fan!
Played Tomb Raider since I was eight and now I'm twenty-three! Wanted to get this ever since I was young, but waited but now I finally have it! I've already played the PS1 game of TRII now I wanted to try it out for PC and try the new bonus levels! Plus this comes with a demo disk for old classic PS1 games! Recommend this to any TR fan! I have all the Tomb Raider games and I say I've always loved Tomb Raider and Lara! :) My dad and sister love the game series too!

The game came before stated date. Game did play as stated, but the game was not complete, it was a demo, along with other game demos. This was not stated in the game summary. I thought when I purchased the game it was the complete game. I thought about sending it back but it would cost more to send it back.

great extended chapter
I'm glad i bought it but the thing what i hated was that my mother just threw out that nice huge case in the garbage. I've told her many times not to throw out those boxes that i decide to keep for a display! Like does she ever listen? -__- i hate the fact that she just did it without asking me like OMG! That's not right. Now i should buy these again to keep those nice big jewel cases. Damnit!!! >:l

Beware XP users
This is no doubt a great game, one of the best ever but it has a number of problems running on Windows XP. For me, the music would not play.
