DeLallo Organic Ditalini Rigati Pasta, 1 Pound, 16-Pack

DeLallo calls this pasta Rigati #57 another manufacturer calls it Tubetti--I just know that it's a shape that was once common in the U.S. and is now quite difficult to find. I grew up using it to make several different pasta salads and other shapes, like the elbow or shell, just don't taste as good. One day I found this DeLallo on sale at my local Whole Foods and snapped it up. Come to find that it's made in Italy with bronze plates and obviously high quality ingredients. The pasta is first quality, toothsome and tasty. I love this pasta so much I choose to save a buck or so a bag and buy a case from Amazon and with prime shipping it's a real bargain. Highly recommend.

First of all, who doesn't love to say the word - ditalini? And these pasta shapes are so cute and adorable. Honest silliness aside, these are absolutely delicious. Just what we were looking for. Autentico e delicioso!

This is good, organic quality pasta. I use it for a non-cow macaroni and cheese using Billy Goat Cheddar cheese along with a Benning Dutch cheese or mild sheep cheese like Lamp Chopper.
