How the PTC starter works:
When the motor starts, it must overcome its own inertia and overcome the reaction force of the load. Therefore, the motor needs a large current and torque when starting.
After the rotation is normal, in order to save energy, the required torque has to be greatly reduced. A set of auxiliary coils is added to the motor, which only works at startup, and it is disconnected after normal.
Connect the PTC thermistor in series to start the auxiliary coil. After starting, the PTC resistor enters the high-impedance state to cut off the auxiliary coil, which can achieve this effect.
