The pen holder is lovely. The pen however, does not write. But I have bought gel sharpies (body white to match this style) which I am hoping will fit into the pen stand, which will serve the purpose of this purchase.See images with the sharpie inserted. A tad bigger than the pen it came with, but as I said above, will serve the purpose. The holder is so gorgeous no one will notice.

Ordered this pen set to go with the matching guest book. Arrived quickly at the same time with the book. No missing or loose pieces. Looks very cute. I tried the pen and it worked. I hope it continues to work for all the guests and taking extra pens just in case. I was a little hesitant to order because some of the reviews mentioned how the pen did not work or it just worked for a while. Keeping my fingers crossed.

This pen wired great at my reception. I had a beach theme and this pen was perfect for our Message in a Bottle table. The pen writes nicely and is worth the price. It added a beautiful touch!

I was really happy with this pen for our wedding. It matches the other beach items sold by this company (cake set, etc.) and it worked all night for our guestbook. It's significantly cheaper than the one at the craft store plus if you are doing an alternative guest book this is nice because you can buy the pen separately.

Used at casual reception. It was cute and wrote. That was the goal.

Received item ahead of arrival date. Properly packaged. Pen itself is a bit on the cheap side but the beach themed Base is of good quality.
