Love this bag!
I’ve traveled with this bag 3 times in 3 months, all with American Airlines. Fits well in the overhead bin; has made it through gate check and regular checked bags as well. It picked up one minor scratch (😢) but otherwise looks new. I love the light weight, great maneuverability, sturdy handles, strong zippers. I’ve used a LOT of bags. (I have 5 in my closet right now, including major name brands.) This Rockland is my go-to.

Maiden Voyage
I needed a new carry on that would stand out. Bought the purple bag so when I do check it, I know which one is mine. Wheels seem sturdy. I quite liked the textured feel. Nothing fancy inside. Just a really good, basic carry on. Would definitely recommend.

Solid little suitcase
This little suitcase is the perfect weekend bag. It holds a lot - I could easily have fit enough for 3-4 days. One side zips completely closed to help keep items separate. The other side has an elastic strap that holds items securely in place. The handle telescopes easily and the wheels glide across even rough surfaces with ease. I will likely buy another to replace my old, soft-sided one. It feels very durable. The zipper worked fine. All in all, an excellent bag.

Spacious for its size
Update: my family just used 3 of these suitcases for a 2.5 week European trip (with some laundry access). We each used one plus a backpack. All 3 held up to the flights and trains well; the lightest color suitcase (pink/light blue) got some noticeable scuffs, but that’s it. I packed an enormous amount into mine, and didn’t even use the extended zipper. Photos show what I packed and here is a list. Definitely glad we got these!8 dresses2 long rompers5 shirts/tanks3 shortsThin sweatpants1 sweater1 jeans1 pajama set1 pr heels1 pr flip flops1 pr sneakers2 bathing suits1 hat1 curling rod1 flat iron1 large brush2 bags toiletries2 boxes of COVID tests1 (small) bottle of wine1 jewelry bag4 pair socks3 bras7 pr underwearOriginal post:I have not yet used this time travel, however I ordered three different hard overhead suitcases from Amazon to compare (several family members needed one). This was the least expensive one and was our favorite by far. The space seems much greater than other similar sized ones, partly due to the fact that this one expands. It is lightweight, maneuvers well, and seems quality enough. I will see how it works out soon, as well are planning a 2.5 week overseas trip and trying to keep it to this bag and a backpack. I’ll try to post photos after packing and using it but so far it’s great! I returned the other two and got this one in 3 different colors for my family members.

You get what you pay for
Update: I'm returning the first one I bought because of the discoloration or bleached looking finish, small dent and grease stain on inside pocket. It also went on sale for nearly half the price and Amazon does not do price adjustments or price matching. The new case I received seems better quality overall and the purple paint a bit brighter and evenly coated. Will give it a try!I need to replace me carryon luggage now that the one I’ve used for years is no longer considered carryon. This one seemed hopeful after others I’ve seen in stores and ordered/returned seemed flimsy. I ordered the purple one and it had a bit of discoloration like bleach was dropped on it.Although it seems roomy to fit shoes & clothes for a long weekend, the material for the liner and strap w/ clip aren't the best quality. When you unzip the liner from the hard side of case there is a thin foam lining. Waiting for a different brand I ordered for comparison but may keep this one since it seems to hold the right amount for a couple of days use. Pretty lightweight too.

Perfect carry on
I am an over packer. So, to combat this when I go on short trips, I decided to get this carry-on suitcase. First of all, it is such a beautiful color. Her name is Petunia and in the event she has to be checked, she will be easily spotted as not many suitcases are this color. :) I can fit four days' worth of clothing in here, three if I have to have two pairs of shoes. It came with an airline approved TSA lock. Inside there is one half that is fully zippered, which zips the wrong way in my opinion, but it zips closed. The other side has a small, zippered pouch on the side, and it has clothes straps. It does expand if necessary and the expansion zipper is different that the regular zipper! Makes it so much easier to know which zipper to use. The wheels are nice and roll easily over many different kinds of ground. There are two different levels of extension for the handle, and I was able to attach my bag around it and roll it with no issues. The price was awesome as I got this on a Prime day sale.

Great carry on luggage
This is a great size, handles well, and wheels roll great. We are going thru the New England states and carrying our bags in and out of hotels- works well!

Great carry-on suitcase
Airlines are tough on luggage. Wheels go missing, luggage tags disappear, handles get broken and he shell can be dented. As a result, I don’t expect a suitcase to last more than a dozen trips, at most. I have high hopes for this Rockland Melbourne Hardside bag, though. It is relatively inexpensive, but seems sturdy. Zipper closures seem good quality, and the bag looks terrific. As a carry-on, it should survive for a while, which would be great. If checked as baggage, well, that is a question! There is no reason why it should not hold up well.

Love it
This is my third time purchasing, everyone in my family wanted one so I kept losing mine hahaThe wheels are bigger than most others so it wheels around better on asphalt and through parking lots, it has been very durable and I love how you can expand it to fit more.I've had it loaded up pretty good and was afraid the zippers would bust, but it can take it!All 3 of the ones I've purchased have the same great quality.Love these. Just wish they had more options foe colors. 😕

Great deal, perfect size for Westjet carry-on!
I got this carry-on 2 days before a trip to Mexico, and I was nervous it would be too big for Westjet's carry-on standards; the suitcase was certainly not 20" as I had initially thought. However, it fit perfectly in the luggage sizer at the airport, and it was light-weight enough for me to lift into the overhead storage (which is good because I do not work out, and I'm 5'2"). Had lots of room to store my things on one side, and plenty of room for shoes on the other side.I also managed to snag a less expensive one as the box was damaged; ended up paying around $60, which is a steal compared to other models on Amazon!

Muy buen producto
Superó mis expectativas, resistente, con mucha capacidad, la posición del cierre permite gran capacidad de almacenamiento y visión de los productos que ordenas, muy cómoda para trasladar, la volvería a comprar
