A beast of a headset.
I am blown away by this headset. I have never really owned anything like it, and am thrilled with all of the features it packs. The build quality feels superb, and the sound can be too, and it has all kinds of EQ and Spatial Audio settings to really tune it so it sounds how you want it to. The design is really cool looking, and I love the RGB effects, which give it that personal touch. The headset is fairly large, but also highly adjustable, so it should fit most users okay.I am probably the most impressed with the active noise cancellation and head tracking technologies that the headset has. It has a gyroscope in it, so if you’re using Spatial Audio, you can turn your head, and the audio will move with it, which I just have never seen anything like.Though I feel I can give it five stars for the way I’m using it, I will point out a few potential downsides that may be a detriment depending on your situation. First and foremost, though you can use this thing on PC, console and mobile, I would not recommend it for Console or Mobile, as many of its features won’t really work without the PC software. Also, it is a wired headset, which I prefer, but some users may not, If these downsides are problems to you, you may want to look into the JBL quantum 910 that may not be as high spec, but are wireless and have an “X” and “P” variant that are marketed towards Xbox and PlayStation respectively, and thus are probably more compatible with console.

Great sounding wired headset
Overall sound is great with the Quantum One headset. I was up in the air on purchasing the wireless version or wired, and overall pleased with the wired. I have Sony earbuds so I really don't need wireless and these are exclusive to my laptop setup. This has a removal boom mic which if you're not careful can pull out slightly if you're not paying attention. I adjusted my mic through the JBL software to have a very light side tone as a mild reminder my microphone is plugged in. Side tone adjustments work great and I didn't think I would consider this a feature until I used it.I'm running a gaming laptop, which when I'm running in performance or turbo mode is loud with the fans to keep the system cool. The mic is crystal clear when I'm in game or Discord.Sound profiles are great and are a pleasant feature from switching from movies, music and then to gaming. The ANC works well. I tried to turn if off and really couldn't tell a difference, but for me I'm OK with this since my fans are typically loud and enjoy the quiet when I'm gaming. This could be a setting I'm using as I'm still fine tuning my setup.Overall, very pleased. I got these for 50% off which made the deal that much sweeter. JBL makes really nice products in my mind. I was gifted a blue tooth speaker which got me interested in them.

So Far, So Good.
Alright, when it comes to the JBL Quantum One Headset, it was my first choice. I could not justify the original price ,as i do not game enough, until there was a $100 price drop and then i snagged them. I did wait through a few shipping delays, (to be expected as i ordered them in the beginning of December.) but then they arrived. I ripped the box open to find a very hardy and very nice quality box. I'm a sucker for a nice box and the unboxing experience was rather premium. Anyway, onto the headset. First impressions:Pros-Very nice weight- Very weighty headset.Memory foam cushions- Very comfortable memory foam that forms to my head, but has enough rebound to not sink into my head.Very solid woven cords- I have abused these cords on accident and I have yet to see a single sign of fraying from themVery nice materials all around- Very premium plastics and metals to obtain a finish fit for the value.Little to no material squeaking- Materials fit together nicely and mesh well together, unlike my Razer headsets of the past.Very Sturdy- Doesn't bend in ways that seem precarious to fit around my unfathomably Brobdingnagian cranium.Very Comfortable- I have worn it for hours and haven't noticed any fatigue from my ears or my head.Amazing Audio Quality for Gaming in GeneralMusic quality is far above average as well. It has a very even tone all around and doesn't overly accentuate highs or lows. I honestly prefer them to my first generation AirPod Pros. Bass is a little lacking, but that is generally adjustable on most platforms to your liking. The microphone only picks up sound from you. It auto isolates your voice and doesn't pick up my ear shatteringly loud bass coming from the subwoofer directly next to my desk.As for the quality and volume of the microphone, it's nothing short of fantastic. My teammates and buddies can hear everything clear as day, even if there is background sound.I consistently get compliments from randoms on my audio quality from people asking if i play on PC and have a dedicated standalone microphone.Outstanding Directional Sound.Noise Isolation and fit is Astounding.Cons-I really love this headset but i must bash it for JBL to improve.Noise Cancellation is Sub-Par comparably to headphones of the same or similar values. The ambient sound in ANC is quite nice, but not when gaming. Its incompatibility with MacOS has become a bit of an issue as I wanted to experience the full headset, but I am limited to what is immediately out of the box. This, though, is not an issue as I originally intended for the use to be on my XBOX full time.Overall, I would wait for a price drop until buying as you can be just fine with a $70 headset instead of something at such a premium value.

Better than Bose, Seinnheiser, and Sony flagship headsets
I have the Bose nc 700, Bose Quite Comfort 35, Sony WH-1000XM4, and Sennheiser Momentum 3.The JBL Quantum One is better than all of those. It has better sound and the build quality is awesome. None of the wireless bluetooth headsets work very well due to bluetooth audio vs bluetooth headset codec differences. If you notice the sound quality is horrible when the microphone is enabled on bluetooth headsets. This is why. The Bose 700, Sony, and Sennheiser all suffer from this problem. The only one that doesn't is the Bose 35, but that's because they require you to plug a wire in to use the microphone. What is the point of getting a wireless headset that requires you to wire it in for headset functionality? For best functionality make sure to install JBL's software and go through the noise cancelling setup.
