Use the tool with common sense
Amazing tool, I am able to transfer fluids with ease. Just remember, it’s a manual pump, don’t be putting a drill full speed to it! A pump is made to create flow, so medium speed drill is just perfect.

Doesn’t work as advertised
Don’t waste your money. This thing doesn’t pump anything out. I put the hose in the gas tank put the drill on. It started the drill and didn’t get one drop to come out of that gas tank. This product does not work like they say it does and is a waste of money.

It will pump
I bought this pump for the cost and to transfer oil from a bucket back into an engine. It worked very well about a dozen times moving 20 qts of oil. After that it would take forever to prime and then it did it was very slow. It got to the point where it doesnt work at all. Its in the trash now, looking for a better one...

25 gallons and no more
Pros: It's cheap.Cons: Quality/durability to match.I bought it to pump out a 55 gallon drum of waste oil. It lasted for 25 gallons. It would no longer pull enough suction to move oil. I read other reviews then disassembled it and the impeller is not shredded like others experienced. I think that debris in the oil probably wore either the impeller or housing. However, it got half the drum empty. For my application, I would buy it again knowing what I know. If I was planning on using it for anything important I would look elsewhere.

Perfect
Nice little pump, perfect for moving fluids, the included brackets are great, holds the pump firmly, no issues with the self priming, just make sure your drill is in correct rotation, pump came pre-lubricated with some type of grease on the impeller so be aware if your using for potable water, I drained 3gal of used oil in under 3min to my recycle container
