I read the reviews about these candle holders being more lightweight—-and they are, because they are not cast metal. They are not flimsy or cheap-looking in any way, but are very nice for the price. Taking this into consideration, I would not put a 12” tall pillar candle on these unless you weight the bottom with sand or casting material filler. The covers on the hollow bottom could be removed for this application. Otherwise, I would very much recommend these pillar candle holders. I would not place a 12” tall pillar candle in them

These are pretty and look great on my foyer table .

This were just as described except they were not as heavy as I expected for metal, thus my only reason for deducting 1 star. They are lightweight, which being described as metal I was just expecting something with more weight to it. These are on our fireplace mantel with some remote control LED candles. Because of the lack of weight I did not feel comfortable putting candles any taller than 2-3 inches. I did put a little dab of dollar tree poster tack under the candles as well as the base of the candle holder just for my piece of mind.

Good price. Great sizes. Low cost.

Nice. They look heavy but are not.

I purchased these as a cheaper option compared to something I'd found in store. They were lightweight but overall sturdy. I used them for a baby shower as a decor piece holding large pumpkins. I hot glue gunned the pumpkins to these just in case they got bumped.
