I looked for weeks for something like this. Most similar sectionals had three pieces instead of 5. What I found is all the negative reviews for the three pieces were about the bottom beam breaking when too much weight (more than 250lbs) was put on it. So I was on the search for a similar sectional that had support in the center of each couch part. This one has it! There are small pieces to attach each piece together that don't work very well. That said, each of the 5 pieces is heavy, sturdy and very well made and they don't move around that much even with daily use. I will probably eventually get something to make them stay together, but it isn't a huge deal now. The other nice thing about 5 pieces is that they could be moved around to make a sectional that is 2 seats on one side, 4 on the other. The other negative (and it's minor) is that some of the cushions are slightly different dimensions. Some are 1/4 in longer or wider than another that should be exactly the same. Only two minor issues hence the 4 stars, but overall, very impressed and would recommend. My patio looks soooo much better with this!
