Birkenstock Womens Open-Back

After reading all the rave reviews on Birkenstocks and what they can do for your foot health, I decided to give them a try. I have flat feet and a history of plantar fasciitis. Wearing them out of box, it felt like I was wearing 2 wooden planks with what feels like a mountain for "arch support." 5 minutes in and my feet were KILLING me. I tried all the "break-in" methods online to no avail. After wearing for 2 days straight they didn't get any better... and I started limping to walk. Just standing in them became unbearably painful. I'm returning these. I'm not sure if I am supposed to "brave it out" longer or if these just aren't made for the flat-footed. Either way, a sandal that has now made it painful to walk in anything isn't something I can afford as I am constantly on my feet.TL;DR extremely, unbearably uncomfortable. Maybe not suited for flat-footed people. YMMV

My husband finally wore-out his old Birks after something-like 15-years of use, so, I bought him these and he loves them even better. He suffers from flat feet and found the cushioning in these newer Birks even more comfy than his last pair. I got him the Mocha Suede and they're very smart looking. I think they're actually dressier than the leather Birks. He wears a 10-1/2 shoe and I was a little worried about the European-sizing, but got the recommended European 43 and they fit him perfectly. He's extremely happy with these sandals and wears them all the time.We went on vacation to California recently, walking all through Huntington Library and Gardens, Bowers Museum, and Disneyland, and his feet didn't hurt him at all wearing these sandals. I can't recommend them highly enough. Buy them with confidence... you'll be glad you did.

They fit good I would suggest if u r 11 mens buy a 10-10.5. I’m normally a 11 in sneakers but I know I like a little more toe room I did have to pop a extra hole in both straps to make em tighter but I feel like one size smaller would have been too small I’ve attached a pic so if you are curious about size u can judge yourself..btw I cannot tell much of a difference between regular and these softbeds,

I've worn Birkenstock sandals around the house for years.This time I decided to try the soft footbed version for the first time.They are even more comfortable than my older Birkenstocks.I have read complaints that the faux-suede uppers are too soft and floppy, that each time you put the sandals on you have to reach down and hold the upper in order to slide your foot in.This is true, but it apparently is not permanent. I have been wearing them for one week and now the uppers stay upright and I can slide my foot right in.These Birkenstock sandals are so comfortable that they are already my favorite shoes and I can highly recommend them to anyone.

After reading reviews I decided to order a size down. I’m a 10.5/11 wide with. I ordered a size 10 and they fit perfect. Little wiggle room as well. For anyone with wide feet these are great because the straps are adjustable. You can feel the soft sole immediately. I can only imagine they get better as they mold to your feet. Great buy.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for years. When I wore down my previous pair too much, I replaced them with these. I decided to try the Soft Footbed this time and I am very happy. The extra cushioning is very nice and I have flat feet, so the additional arch support is also very helpful.

Over 30 years he has been wearing this style of Birdenstock's and just like the first years, he said they were instantly melded to his feet. So not only is the comfort level begins the first time he wears them, but we know with certainty that the quality of this product will have them lasting a very long time. CM

I don't know why I tried any other shoes! I wear thick socks and these fit perfectly. The product review indicated they run a little large. I bought them based on that review. I've had them on for a little more then 4 hrs. And they're just fine!

I wish I ordered 39.5 size instead 39 but it fits ok.

Leider war ich von diesem Paar Birkis enttäuscht obwohl ich sie vor ein paar Jahren nur in einer anderen Farbe in selbiger Ausstattung und Größe bestellt habe.....Obwohl "Normal" Weite waren sie enger als üblich. Klar neue Schuhe sind immer anders als ausgelatschte alte...aber es sind nicht meine ersten Birkis und bisher waren sie IMMER angenehm passend und niemals zu eng....daher leider zurück geschickt!

Prodotto di qualità. Ho comprato la versione in pelle oleata marrone tabacco e sono davvero stupendi. Taglie abbondanti, i modelli in questione sono a pianta “normale” quindi ho preso un numero in meno rispetto al mio solito e calza perfettamente.

Bellissimi e comodissimi (tranne i primi giorni che risultano un po' duri ma poi si ammorbidiscono). Il colore è più scuro rispetto alla foto ma risultano comunque bellissimi

ich mag diese birkenstocks - sie sind bequem aufgrund der softvariante, sehen gut aus, sind schön breit und damit toll zu tragen. verpackung und verand super.
