Good entry level gaming system but it has its limitations
So far my DB52 has worked great for my everyday tasks, but I haven't tried hardcore gaming yet so will have to see. Though I also have replaced the hard drive with a solid state drive and switched from Windows 10 Home to Windows 8.1 Pro ( All but 2 drivers were on the Asus G11CD support website part of its Windows 10 64 bit downloads. The Realtek 8821AE Wireless LAN was found on another manufactures website and Intel Management Engine Interface was installed by searching the Windows 10 Home hard drive before I wiped it clean and made it into a data drive ).Overall there are some future upgrade speed limitations that this system just can't over come ( H110 chipset vs H170 vs Z170 ). Making this systems potential high end gaming days more limited, but on sale for under $700 you can't easily build a better Intel Skylake system yourself currently.

Not exactly Oculus Ready... But close enough.
Great starter gaming rig. I have a custom rig in my home office which I use for standard gaming and bought this specifically as a VR rig. Out of the box, this Asus requires an video driver update in order for Oculus Rift to work. It won't even start the installation process without it. There are a limited number of USB 3.0 ports giving you enough space to run the Rift Headset and Sensor but not the new Sensor which will be required for the Touch controllers. (Yes you can plug it into USB 2.0 but you have degraded performance) There are 2 USB 3.1 ports but the 3.1 ports are not recognized by RIFT and cause issues. Other than that one of the cooling fans makes a constant humming sounds when the computer is turned on which can get annoying. Opening the box to add anything to it (like USB expansion or a new cooling fan) voids the warranty. All of that being said, I've had no problem with performance with any of the games, applications and videos while using VR. It's all smooth as butter.

UPDATED DO NOT BUY!!!
This 2 star review is for the particular computer I RECEIVED. The performance of this PC is great for starters. The problem for me was that my item was defective. It would run fine but then would suddenly freeze with no explanation right out of the box. ASUS was unable to correct the problem. When the computer would run properly it was AMAZING. I purchased this for use with the oculus. There were no issues. IMPORTANT you must buy a cable to connect your tv to the pc if you plan on using for the rift. This PC only has 1 HDMI port and the oculus will need to use it. the way i worked around this was by using a DP to HDMI cable. The PC has many other connections that are HD like HDMI but you will only have 1 port which the Oculus will consume so be sure to buy a cable aswell for your monitor AND NOTE a VGA port is not included on this PC. here is a link for a good cablehttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Z05JMKO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1I AM RE ORDERING NOW AND WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW ON THE SECOND PCSECOND PC HAS SAME PROBLEM TOTAL PIECE OF GARBAGE DO NOT BUY THIS 2 OF 2 ARE DEFECTIVE WILL BE A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENTAlso this only has 150gb on the c drive and the rest on the d drive

Solid Machine, Unregistered Windows
The computer is solid, and it runs my Oculus Rift just fine. Oddly, it came installed with an unregistered/unactivated copy of Windows. Not a big impediment, it just gets annoying constantly seeing the the message on the screen. When contacted about the problem, Asus would not give me an activation code, but insisted that I send the machine back to them, so they could install it. Too big a hassle, I'm just going to live with it.Again, I have no complaints with the machine, except for the annoying "Please Activate your copy of Windows" message.

Excellent rig for Moba gaming and mmos like WoW.
I just received my Asus Desktop yesterday. So far I am completely satisfied with preformance of detail output in the 2 games I've played. Which have been Wow and LoL. Both ran perfect to my eyes. I think the graphics card could have been a higher model for the price maybe a gtx 960 instead of 950. Buuut they have a small difference and the i5 processor balances it out nice and perfect. The only thing I kinda tripped about in he beginning was when I tried to download LoL, at first I had to to update all the driver files including video of course, which followed with an an option to update windows 10? This however I tried to go ahead and start, and I need up backing out when the download was only at 11 percent in the hours on my fiber optic internet. Yeh no. I cancelled that s*** and ran the windows version that it comes with and so far runs fine. As for VR gameplay I do not speak for them, it does say you in the operating system that this pc is not VR ready, so I'm assuming you would have to update a few things. I'm a hardcore mmo/moba gamer though and this rig is perfect for that in my opinion.
