I have a large round head. I’ve been bald for 26 years. I like wearing caps to keep my dome safe from the cold or from burning in summer as a practical necessity. This hat serves both purposes without being too hot or cold. But, also I am vain and like to look good while doing so.Unstructured hats, many times, seem to bow-out at the temples in front of your ears. I hate that. Also, they tend to be too shallow and sit too high above your ears.I like hats that fall lower on my head (right above my ears without rubbing) so they can cinch down and get a solid grip on my head in order to hold tight in a solid gust of wind.My biggest complaint about poorly made, unstructured hats is they use too much fabric up front. It’s like they design the hat to sit up high with stiff backing and then take out the backing to save money and call it “unstructured”. That leaves too much fabric and a lot of goofy looking wrinkles and weird puffy places.This hat has none of those flaws. It lays low, stays snug and forms to your head.I’m wearing my second hat that I just got tonight from this company, unwashed, and it still looks better than most. I’ll hit it with hot water and put it on wet to dry and form to my misshapen dome with every confidence that it will fit and look as good as the first one.This is a “Best Buy” from my experience. Well worth the low price.

It does fit my head barely (my head is usually too big for most caps) and it looks nice. Nice cap to quickly put on and easy to readjust, but I wouldn't buy it again because its a bit too small.

Great quality, nice dark green color (another reviewer criticized this and I was reluctant but everything ended up ok).I do want to point out this is a *low-profile* hat. No mention of that in title. Do some research and decide whether you want a low-profile hat, because I wasn't expecting it to be. I'm happy with it, but I wouldn't blame somebody if they felt like this was too tight/small on their head.

Nice comfy hat, but color does not match picture. In reality, the hat I got is a much more dull washed out orange, almost leaning towards a dull salmon color that's probably closest to a peach color. So, if you're wanting these hats for a specific color, then you may be disappointed, depending on what you get. Other colors may be better, I'm just letting you know my experience. Also, the front seam tends to lie at a bit of an angle going up from the brim. Doesn't impact comfort, but if you're obsessive-compulsive about straight lines and right angles, it may bother you.

Port Authority are masters at making low profile hats!

The picture shows a black hat. The tag says black. However, the hat is in fact a dark green, a little darker than Sytherin green if you’re a Harry Potter fan. I didn’t mind the color though others do. It’s a good hat for the price and arrived 4 days early.HERES MY EDIT—I’ve bumped up the rating to 5 stars simply because I was wrong about the color. After it being in the sun for a few hours, I work in daycare and needed it to work as a visor, the color darkened to black.

Bought the darker grey one a couple years ago and it has gotten heavy use. The shape and an material has held up perfectly. It fits just as well as it did brand new. I like these because they are a bit more shallow in the dome than the typical "trucker" hat, which fits this head better. Only negative is that the color faded significantly but as much as it was worn year round, that is not a surprise. Bought two more (in orange and brown) and they fit just a good as the first one. Great product for the price. Love the orange color best.

I really wish I could post a picture of the item I received but alas... I guess I can’t for a third party seller!?Well, the product picture here looks like a ball cap with a tight bottom seem running around the cap itself and tight to the bill. The one I received looks like a ‘flat cap’ where the cap and bill meet; the bottom sides of the cap are ‘rolled’ under making the part of the cap that transits the bill puffy (not a tight seem). This ‘puffiness’ continues around the hat. The bill is also very short (about ½ the size of a baseball cap; this is not evident from the product pictures)… so, do not confuse this to be a tight stitched ball cap. It’s more like a puffy cap with a baby bill. Also, I know this is a Washed Contrast cap but really?! The one in the picture is way more vibrant! I wanted the one in the picture, not the one I got!That said, I like the Velcro closure but that’s about it.And so my search continues for a low profile black, 100% cotton ball cap!
