Holds an Adult!
My kids used these in school and I bought them for our house for them to scoot around on and they love them. Holds even an adult. Wheels are very sturdy and durable. Fun to ride and for kids!

Good product, even if it is not what I needed.
I ordered this scooter and sent it back. So I'm going to write a review on it since I did get to experience it.The reason I wanted a scooter was because I broke my foot and was told to put no weight on the foot, so i thought i could scoot around the house with it because I hated using crutches. Ok, crazy plan. That said, it really didn't work well on my plush carpet, I had to push way too hard with one foot to make it go anywhere. Like, duh, right? But, I have to say, even as an adult there was enough room for me to sit on it, and if I had hardwood floors or something I'm sure there would have been no problem. If I had a kid and they were going to use this outside on concrete, I'd make sure they were wearing gloves so they wouldn't risk finger injury if they fall off it or something. But it's just like the scooters I used in gym class as a kid. Very strong and would have been fun under different circumstances. :)

I loved them when I was a kid...
an inexpensive way to have fun and exercise the body as well as the mind. we like to have races, pretend to swim/drive/ride trains. they pack away nicely and travel easily. The handles are the best - many other scooter boards have handles that protrude from the body of the board but these are recessed and protect little knuckles and fingers better.*** I would also add that they work freaky well on wood floors. We've also taken them on rubberized floors like tennis courts and gymnasiums. Asphalt and concrete kind of dicey. There are no shocks and wheels are hard plastic so the kids feel every bump. I've also ridden on them with my kids and I'm around 135lbs.

It broke
My son does not come close to the weight limit suggested by the manufacturer but it still broke after a month of use. His friends have other brands that they’ve had for years without breaking. Frustrating. Now it has a pinch point.

Perfect rectangular scooter board
Excellent size. My son is 4, weighs 42 lbs, and is 43" tall. He has hypotonia and our OT said scooter boards are good for strength and motor planning. She has a smaller, square shaped board that she brings over sometimes for his therapy. This one is perfect for him to scoot while sitting or while laying on his tummy with the board turned vertically. The wheels are high quality. The height is great as well---the clearance makes it easier for him to scoot from the rug to the hardwood. I will probably be ordering another one because my daughter loves it too. She's almost 3.This board is safe as well. The handles keep their fingers protected. Neither child has run over or pinched their fingers or toes, if you are concerned about that.

Not just a scooter
I have lots of colored pencils and adult coloring books next to my chair. The basket is very heavy for me to pick up and carry it around. So I bought the scooter, and hubby used zip ties to attach it to my basket. Now the whole thing just glides around anywhere in the house. I would say that my art basket weighs at least 30 lbs, and there is no sagging on the scooter. I love it…makes coloring time so much easier.
