My daughter's dance class allowed the kids to dress up for Halloween as long as the costume didn't interfere with their ability to move freely. This was a perfect, simple option. She chose to only wear the wings but easily could have worn the skirt as well. The headpiece is very pretty. The wand is okay - arrived bent and is cheap. But the price was worth it for the other three items (after serving their intended purpose they can also be used for dress up and I currently have the wings placed on her window curtain acting as temporary "decor") - we were happy with it. My daughter is 5, about 40ish pounds, 45ish inches tall. No issues with fit.

Perfect costume for your perfect fairy! The four parts to this package all arrived in excellent condition (an essential for most of us) & were of MUCH better quality than I expected for the relatively low price at Amazon. More specifically-first there is a tutu-skirt with three layers, sturdily stitched together with a neat finish, with a 2' wide satin elastic band, and a large bright flower in the front center--the pretty flower wreath fits securely with a charming double-veil that streams in the breeze of fairy dancing and running: unexpected and soooo pretty--the wings are sparklingly and extensively decorated with glittery-like strands. Fit snugly but not at all too tight and I can vouch they stayed on through an energetic 3 hour birthday party--the wand is topped with a butterfly making the costume a visual "whole."Any Issues? None. The costume fit beautifully an average-size five year-old who delighted the extra features. However, while the wand comes with a nicely tied bow & two long ribbons, I added three satin ribbons and liked the fullness more.OVERALL: An excellent value---and the color as a true purple . The costume is holding up nicely with energetic use. The effect is awwwww magical fairy princess. Suitable for 3 to 7. A word of praise for the packing. I live on a rock in the middle of the Pacific and the packing made for a perfect condition arrival.

Since the set is only $10 I was wary of it. I didn't think it would be able to hold up for a 3 yr old, but I decided "what the heck, it's dress-up clothes so if it gets messed up it'll be fine." The ONLY thing I'm even remotely worried about is the little wand that comes with it. It's a little cardboard straw with some foil ribbon around it, but everything else is great quality! The headband might be a little big for her but she will be able to wear this for a while, I'm sure. It would even fit a 9/10 year old. The skirt has really good elastic in it, and the wings actually have a thicker wire rim around the edges. Even if they get bent up a little you could bend them right back with some pliers. I think it'll definitely hold up well. The skirt has plenty of tulle on it. I fully expected if to be one layer of it and chinsey looking but it's thick and full. I would definitely recommend this.

This is gorgeous and my 5 year old loved it. She wore it just for playing dress up. Unfortunately, the wings ripped really quickly - I was expecting a little higher quality for what I paid. But it was fun while it lasted!

We have purchased a few different costumes and have always been impressed with their quality. I have a very active 3 yrs old and there are some items that I like to keep intact for our son, and also be able to use in my classroom (I teach pre-k). I absolutely love this outfit and I plan to use some of the articles for her upcoming birthday party. The wings attach to the child’s arms with 2 elastic bands that are comfortable. They aren’t tight or too loose. They are also beautiful! The tutu is made of soft fabric (not scratchy) and also has an elastic band. The headband/veil is adorable! It fits my daughter’s head perfectly and adds a little more elegance to the outfit. While she’s jumping around, it doesn’t catch or pose any safety issues. It isn’t long enough for her to trip either. My daughter also loves wands, and it match the rest of this outfit perfectly. Remind children to take care with it. It is made well, but not designed for incredible amounts of stress. This was an awesome addition to our dress up trunk!

The quality of this was not as I expected. The material used to make the skirt was very stiff and the fairy wand stick was already bent, not broken just bent. The design of everything was good, just the skirt and fairy wand were not as shown in the image advertised. For this reason, I am returning it. I am tired of sellers advertising one thing and sending you something of lesser quality than what they advertise. You can see from the photos how stiff the skirt is and the sewing is already coming loose from WB on the skirt. Also, the color is not as advertised. I would have kept it if the advertised Image looked like the product. Or they made a price adjustment to fit the final product not being as advertised.

This fairy costume was a huge hit with my granddaughters aged 2 and 4. I loved the headdress which fit both well and looks super cute. The wand was a little flimsy, but that is because the older GD bent it with her hands. The skirts were full and the wings were a huge hit. I let the older GD choose her color first and she took blue but after a few mins wanted the purple that her sister had. They compromised, splitting the set up. I would buy again. My daughter said the skirt had a faint smell but I couldn't tell.

The 4-yo girl this was gifted too immediately put it on and then pranced around the room proudly telling everyone she was now a fairy. It was obvious the outfit was not coming off (ever) without vicious protest. I felt a little bad because I am fairly certain she was going to insist on wearing it to bed. The quality of the outfit as you would expect, not the highest quality, but the outfit was worth every dollar spent for the reaction alone and the memories that were made, not only for her but every person in the room. The true innocent joy of a child is a sight to cherish.
