Works great and fast...this stuff is a time saver

Works really fast when fresh - 30seconds.It's a 1:9 mix. One part blackening, 9 parts distilled water.As "stuff/contaminants" drop out of solution it may take 3 or 4 minutes. Filtering helps (400 sieve). A "splash" of blackening helps, but the solution is getting old.

The best that I have used

Product was easy to use. Mix 1 part concentrate to 9 parts water. Throughout clean product like sand blast metal prep. Dip part in mixed solution 30 seconds to 2 mins depending on the size part and age of solution. Dip in clean distilled water. Blow off with compressed air and place piece in sealer like wd-40, engine oil or the sealer sold by caswell. Cheap alternative for a great finish!

Not as advertised. Photo showed a bottle and I received the liquid in a round 3” container. Very hard to pour without spilling. Container was delivers inside of a sealed bag and the cap taped with black electrical tape. (Seller was expecting it to leak or knew it would leak, unbelievable) Liquid still spilled/leaked in the bag. Was a mess opening. Due to the leakage, the label was ruined and no longer visible. Looked like a homemade sticker made on a low budget sticker maker. (Wish I would have taken pics) I have bought this product in the past and it work great. What I received was not as strong as what I used in the past. I think this product has been water down. I believe this seller buys this chemical in large quantities than breaks it up himself/herself. I would recommend buying from someone else. This is fishy… very unhappy and displeased.
