I ordered this thermal printer for my father's house for light printing. The pro is I love the ease of use, the no ink required, and the portability to carry around. The con is the thermal paper that comes in a roll. When you print the document out, the image is good but it stayed roll up. You definitely need to put it in something heavy, like a book, to flatten the paper to stay in shape. Another downside is to make sure you print one page at a time; if you print more than one page, you have to cut it yourself manually. For the paper quality, as other reviewers suggested, I did a search and decided to order another automatic folder printing paper, which is compatible with this Thermal Portable Printer. I am still waiting for my order to come. Hope it will all work out.

This portable printer is super convenient! It works well, and it was very easy to set up. It's nice not having to worry about ink. The only downfall is the paper. For example, when using the roll of paper, if it's a multipage document, it will just keep printing. So you end up getting one really long page without time to rip the pages individually. The solution I found for that is to print one page at a time so you can tear each page once it's done. Overall happy with the purchase. Best for less official documents such as notes or something that doesn't need to be high quality. Wouldn't recommend it for more formal document printing of course. Overall, definitely worth the purchase. Good value.

It works! Came in good condition and works as advertised, the app is easy to use, I'm not a fan of the paper rolls, but you can buy regular thermal paper for it, which is what I'll do once the paper rolls are over. Just remember this is thermal paper, like the ones in receipts, so if you scratch it, it leaves a mark. But it's perfect for children's learning materials (since they're used temporarily), for printing weekly menus, grocery shopping lists, kids drawings, music notes, drafts, brochures, receipts, etc.
