These hooks the way there designed is a user friendly hook. If they are put on the line correctly even when a fish puts the bait in there mouth it will turn unlike other hooks. It usually pulls in the upper jaw and is sharp enough to pull in past the barb. My catch ratio is at least 96% catch ratio if for some reason I don't catch the fish it's because I'm slow on the draw so part of that is my own fault which isn't very much. I recommend this style over others because the durability of the hook.

I responded to an post sale email from the seller asking if i was satisfied with my purchase and to let them know if I was dissatisfied in any way. Here is my exact response:Dear AA,Thank you for your email.  I ordered size 6/0# fishing hooks with expectations they'd be larger than the 5/0# hooks I purchased at my local store.  However they are smaller which doesn't make sense.  Anyway, I should have measured my 5/0# hooks and compared them to your 6/0# hooks (using the helpful measurement diagram included in your online description).  Seems like there would be a "standard" for sizing fishing hooks (within the same "type" class), but perhaps not.  The baitholder barbs on yours hooks were the second main reason (size was first) for choosing your hooks.  I have used your hooks for the last 2 days fishing in a freshwater lake and the baitholder barbs work great, holding the bait firmly on the shank.  I ran into a couple of snags and the hooks have proven to be very strong and unbendable, which is good.  I caught several fish, a couple of them being catfish nearly 36" long and 25  - 30 pounds.  Again the hooks did their job by setting perfectly and withstanding the massive tension at play from a huge fighting catfish that took a while to reel in.  I will post a 5 star review on Amazon, it's deserved.  Please let me know what other fishing products you sell and how to purchase.  Thank you!

Loosing at least 6 hooks on each fishing trip. Tried this to save money. Quality is same/similar to brand products from bait shop. Just, eye of the hook is a little small to pass folded 30 lb lines.

I've had the 6/0 circle hooks for almost a year now, they do exactly what I need them to. Hooks dont break on strong saltwater fish like grouper, snook, and redfish! Very sharp and reliable.

These hooks are OK but they are not very sharp. Most likely won't be re ordering.

Positives: 1) hooks are very sharp, 2) they are very affordableNegatives: 1) every single eyelet ends with a sharp edge that cuts your lines when using on dropper loop, 2) barbs are set too low on the hook to actually hold the bait over the hook.Sadly, these hooks are pretty close to useless because of the two negatives. First off, I purchased these to use on dropper loops and lost way too many fish, all with the line cut right where the line would have met the sharp edge of the eyelet. I can overlook the low set barbs, but losing fish because the hook cuts the line is a complete deal breaker. Too bad I bought hundreds of these. What a waste.
