Amazing Flavor
I have tried so many dill veggie dips and have not found one that I like and this mix was perfect. This is the best tasting dip mix I have tried.

Perfect dip for parties
We couldn't find this in the store any more so, I was happy when I could order it here. We use it with veggies and chips. Easy to make. Love it!

Pickle Dip
I thought I was receiving actual dip, not a mix to add to sour cream. It should have been titled pickle dip mix. If it was I didn’t notice!

Excellent!
This is awesome. I love cucumber, onion, sour cream salad. I used one packet per 1 cup of sour cream, 2 cucumbers and 1 onion, all very thinly sliced. The juice produced by the cucumbers is enough to offset not using two cups of sour cream for each packet. I’ve tried forever to find something to replace the Pampered Chef dill mix. This does it!

Contains very unhealthy maltodextrin!
Most people who are buying organic are health conscious and unfortunately this is not a healthy product. I used to eat Simply Organic dip mixes almost every day, from the spicy taco seasoning to the guacamole mix to the ranch dip, thinking that I was consuming healthy organic spices. One day I looked at the ingredient list closer and googled Maltodextrin as I really like to know what I'm putting into my body and was horrified to learn how unhealthy is actually is. All 30+ packets of Simply Organic dip mixes went in the trash and I will never buy them again.First off Maltodextrin has a glycemic index higher than table sugar and high spikes in insulin are definitely not good for your health. The second thing I learned is that it negatively affects gut bacteria. The latest science tells us that healthy gut flora is the foundation for a healthy immune system. Our gut and brain communicate via the gut brain axis so an unhealthy gut even negatively affects mood and mental functioning."One study has shown that maltodextrin increases the activity of Escherichia coli bacteria, which may have a role in the development of the inflammatory bowel disease known as Crohn's disease.Another study has linked maltodextrin to the survival of Salmonella bacteria, which may cause gastroenteritis and a broad range of chronic inflammatory conditions.A recent study suggested that maltodextrin may also compromise the ability of cells to respond to bacteria. It could also suppress intestine defense mechanisms against them, leading to intestinal disorders.""Maltodextrin may also cause a rash or skin irritation, asthma, cramping, or difficulty breathing. The primary sources of maltodextrin will be corn, rice, and potato, but manufacturers may sometimes use wheat. People with celiac disease or gluten intolerance should be aware that, although the production process will remove most of the protein components, maltodextrin derived from wheat may still contain some gluten."I now make my own dip mixes using organic spices and nutritional yeast as a thickening agent (a great substitute for Maltodextrin). Very simple to do actually, just google what you'd like to make and find a recipe you'd like to try, most take less than 5 minutes, and if you make them in bulk you have the same convenience as these packets of crap passed off as health foods!
