CitizenWomen's Eco-Drive Dress Classic Crystal Watch in Stainless Steel, Blue Dial (Model: FE1140-86L)

I bought this for my wife's birthday, because she asked for a solar watch. It was a fantastic hit - she loves it. I would buy it again. While selecting this watch I could not find much information on the bracelet. In fact when we received it we were confused about how take it no and off. The few instructions did not help; however, after we found two tabs which you press in, it became the easiest bracelet ever to take on and off and it is very secure! However, to adjust the length of the bracelet requires removing links - be aware of this. If you purchase this from a jeweler or from the manufacturer they will adjust it for you. There are Utubes showing how to do it, but it is not easy. This is the only concern I would have about buying another from Amazon.

I love my Citizen eco-drive watch. It is beautiful and it looks good on my small wrist. As other reviews mentioned the date is nearly impossible to read but that's not important to me. Since it's eco-drive I will never have to change a battery!

I researched for over a month before making a purchase. I narrowed my search down to Citizen for their quality and reliability. This is my first Eco-drive watch so I'm excited to not have to deal with batteries again. This watch is beautiful - great size, easy to read, with just the right amount of bling. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

A Christmas gift for my wife so I hope she likes it. I like the styling and contrasting blue with the crystals. Will try to follow up after the holiday.

Good quality and appearance

I purchased this in the summer of 2023. The picture is from January 2025. What I've liked: Item arrived carefully packaged and appeared new. Watch itself has a substantial weight to it. Comfortable to wear all day long- even on hot summer days. Kept accurate time, even after consecutive cloudy/rainy days. Band stays securely closed and does not get caught on things. The face is a deep navy blue in most lighting. Despite scratches on crystal, still easy to read time. The hands glow in the dark for a short time after being in the light. Things that disappointed: Scratches began appearing on crystal and the band almost as soon as I took it out of box. I don't wear it while completing household chores or bathing. In fact, I'd say I baby it a bit- and yet it has lots of scratches and the "Citizen" stamp on the back of the watch (the part that rests against skin) has just about disappeared. Date window is tiny. Face is smaller than I expected. Pricey for something that scratches so easily. Recently lost a few minutes time- not sure when or how.

I work in the medical field and a good watch is an absolute must. Citizens has not disappointed. The eco-drive works well, the crystal is tough and holds up against consistent hand washing. This was an excellent purchase
