Choo chooooo! Weeeeeeeeeeee
The media could not be loaded. TRAIN! It's a Lego train, and if you like Legos, and/or trains, this is fun. It was fairly easy to build. Says 6+, a 6 or 7 year old may need a hand, but I can still see them able to do it with limited help. The instructions are very easy to follow, and the bags of pieces numbered. Each page only adds a few pieces, and uses clear pictures to guide you step by step. The motors have a good amount of power, and 10 settings for power/speed. If you crank it to 10, it is fast enough to derail itself around a bend, so I'm happy with the way these perform. While I do think Legos are pricey, they do make top quality products, and their customer support has been fantastic for as long as I can remember. Very very rarely have I ever had any missing or broken pieces, and they've never given me hassle when I brought an issue to them.If you watched the video, you'll notice I bought 2, and combined them. Neither set was missing a single piece, and as usual, had some extras. It is possible, and easy, to sync multiple "engines" to a single remote.

Probably coolest lego train out there
My son waited for 2 years for this train ( to be 6) and he was over the moon to get it for his birthday. The train took 2 adults and a 6 year old a couple hours to fully put together. The train speeds are ridiculously fast, as in I don't see why anyone would need a lego train to go that fast. If you speed it up too much the train will fly off the tracks, but if you stay at a normal speed it stays on the track well. It does require an insane amount of AAA batteries (10 total, 6 for the train alone). We have already had to replace the batteries twice in a matter of 2 weeks. I would suggest investing in rechargeable batteries to save money. The price of this train is also very good ( or it was when we bought it for under $150). Our 4 year old is also obsessed with the train and its simplicity to put on tracks and drive.

Son loved it!
This is an excellent train set. Fun to build with my son and the quality is out of this world.

Great Value, Great Set
This is one of my favorite LEGO sets I can think of! The train took a ‘whopping’ hour and a half to assemble, and I took some time to arrange the tracks...so about two hours to set up. Remember, you need a lot of AAA batteries for this set, so keep this in mind when building it. I’m surprised that I haven’t had to refill the batteries yet 🤷♀️. The train itself has a pretty sleek and modern design that makes it way cooler than all of the trains I’ve ever seen in real life. It’s more like a high speed monorail, to be honest. The mini figures included were the only thing I didn’t like about it. They were just...average. I don’t think there were any new pieces, nor rare ones, as far as the minifigures. But, overall, this set was great.

Easy for 6 year old
The media could not be loaded. This took my 6 year old about 2.5 hours to build all by himself. He is good at Legos in general. He loved putting it together. It does take a lot of batteries. 7AAAs in total. Like most other Lego sets, it's well designed. Comes with a small train station, as you might be able to see in the video. The train can move at different speeds, the fastest of which is pretty fast! We bought an extra set of tracks. We might need more!

Good, but expensive
This is a good Lego train set, but I don't think it's worth $150. I guess the expense is in the motor and remote control and that you can control the train via an app. But that still seems like a steep price. For that amount of money, it should come with more track. It's just a small oval. But my kids like it and play with it regularly. I guess it also makes a good base for a Lego city as you can create buildings all around the track.

Best gift ever for a Lego kid that has everything!
I purchased the Lego Passenger Train as a gift for my 11 year old grandson who has wanted it for a long time. The price on Amazon was much lower than other retailers so this was a plus. Since putting it together we have purchased additional track pieces as it comes with just enough to make an oval and that gets boring quick. I was surprised at the actual size of the train cars...they are not small at all! We also added a light kit that was purchased separately. I think this is a great piece for the Lego kids that have everything and want something different. It is very durable when assembled, haven't lost any pieces yet!

Fun Christmas gift for my train crazy 7 y/o son!
Our son LOVES trains, and we bought him a high speed LEGO passenger train for his birthday last year, but he's autistic and has no patience for assembly or for when pieces fall off or it derails from the tracks (which it did quite a bit when he would run it too fast). In a fit of frustration he threw it against a wall, it shattered and lots of pieces were lost. He really wanted another one for Christmas, so I bought this one and pre-assembled it with super glue, gluing each piece down as I built it. He was super stoked on Christmas morning to have a fully assembled train, ready to run and play with! It works great! For some reason this one derails a LOT less than the last one. Maybe they've put a better speed governor on the remote so it can handle turns at top speed. I don't know but I'm thrilled. The remote paired with the train very easily and there are lots of cute and fun details that my son loves, especially in the dining car. He really likes to use the LEGO play app on his iPad to control it because it opens up all sorts of additional features like sounds. That being said, pairing the train with the app can be finicky. We could only get it to work by taking the remote it comes with out of range. There is no way to switch off the remote so you can use the app. You'd have to unscrew the back and take the batteries out. If there is a better/easier way to pair the train with the app so you can control it that way, there were absolutely no instructions on how to do it included. Otherwise the app is very intuitive and simple to use. All in all we really love this train! It works great, has lots of great detail, wasn't too difficult to put together and runs reliably and well. We love that it came with both the remote and app access unlike some other LEGO trains that you can only control with the app. He's a happy boy! And yes I paid full price for this train.
