LOVE THIS CHAIR!
So, before I purchased this chair I did a lot of research. I wanted a chair that had a non-toxic exterior coating, looked nice in the kitchen and would last through all our children. I purchased this chair 2 years ago and STILL LOVE IT! There are many reviews that the straps are to low and will not hold your child in, the tray is too small, it doesn't grow with the child, the space between the backrest and the seat is too small, etc.Well, let me debunk these for you: - Straps are too low/flimsy: They do sit low. But I can tell you that my 2 year old sits in this chair with out a tray and has leaned herself 100% completely forward in a fit to get out and she went NO WHERE. The chair itself is extremely stable and the straps held her in just fine.- The tray is too small: How big do you need the tray? A child shouldn't be eating ginormous meals anyway. It is the perfect size for a children's plate, bowl and a cup to fit on. It also helps a child understand cleanliness. Try to keep the mess on the tray, not on the floor, please. :)- It doesn't grow with the child: YES IT DOES. I have used this for my first child from the age of 5 months (just sitting with us at dinner) and she still uses it at 2 1/2 years old. The seat and the footrest are both completely adjustable to be comfortable for any child at any height. In fact, I myself have sat in this chair to use at the dinner table when we were short a chair with guests. I find it quite comfortable myself.- The space between the backrest and seat is too small: Okay, I know kids do crazy things. In fact, my 2 1/2 year old just the other day stuck her head in between the back of the seat. There is enough space for her to feel confined like she was stuck, but she was NOT STUCK. She just needed to calmly pull her head back out. The problem was that she freaked out. Not that the chair caught her head in it. If I were to raise the seat (which I could by one notch) then her head wouldn't fit at all. Be your own judge.I am getting ready to purchase the booster seat from keekaroo and pass the chair down to my second child who will be 6 months soon. LOVE KEEKAROO! Thank you for wonderful products!

LOVE the Keekaroo!
We were deciding between the Stokke Tripp Trapp and the Keekaroo I am so glad we chose the Keekaroo! This chair is gorgeous and well made, the assembly was not too bad ( I have assembled things before) and the cushions are awesome! We also purchased the other 2 piece comfort cushions to go along with this set. Amazon's shipping and packaging were awesome. My son is so much more comfortable in the Keekaroo than the Tripp Trapp. And the cushions are much easier to clean. I wish the buckle was a bit more sophisticated, but it certainly works. I was concerned that my child would escape from the 3-point harness, compared to Stokke's 5-point, but it seems to work well so that is impossible. The tray is nice, it does have a plastic cover and a "lip" to keep liqids contained. I was not sure it the plastic tray cover was white or clear, ours came white. Keekaroo's customer service is awesome, I will absolutely and happily purchase a second chair when we have a second child. I never want to use anything else again. We tried a number of cheaper high chairs thinking a high chair is not that important... wrong! We use it 3 times every day, it is as important as the crib! We borrowed my SIL's Tripp Trapp for a while, it was nice but I did not like the infant conversion or how hard the cushions were to clean ... and the price ugh it was at least 100 dollars more! If you want a classy, lasting, comfy, functional chair for your child, look no further!

Sleek Highchair
I’ve been using this chair for six years and with three children. I can say that it is pretty durable! We mainly use it in infant/toddler form, so we’ve not used it just as the chair for bigger kiddos. Just recently, one of the clasps for the tray broke, but it’s still functional, and I could probably call and get a replacement part, because it looks easy to replace. We’ve used it a lot, so we’ve got our money worth, and will continue to use.My favorite aspects of this chair is how good looking it is - it’s slim profiled and takes little space, its not a huge chunk of plastic, and lastly, it is so easy to clean! Just pop out the cushion and wipe down rest! I didn’t use the Velcro, it stays put by itself. So easy! Not many crevices I like the big, clunky plastic ones. The seat and back cushions are really nice. Made in USA. I have the aqua color, and they are easy to clean, and really durable. We have smothered them in spaghetti, fruits, etc. and they didn’t stain until the third kiddo - but I may have let the clean up go for too long this last instance. But they haven’t cracked, creasd, and have held up super well! The staining that did occur is super light. My only thought of improvement would be the tray. It is either a two-handed loosening or removing of the tray or you have to loosen one side and then the other, and it’s kindly tricky at times when holding an infant. Also, the wood portion of tray slides completely off, which is nice for cleaning, but once landed on my husband’s toe- so watch out! The tray space is smaller compared to others’, but it is a smaller concept, and less space to clean.Overall, I really love this highchair!
