Verdict:Not RecommendedSummary:Decent Build Quality, little thinner than I expected.Bought to use with portable battery bank with USB port and 5V 2.1A output.Doesn't reliably make a connection. Have to wiggle & then hold it. [Normal wall plug chargers(2) work fine so it's not the tablet.]Doesn't snap in snugly like my two wall plug chargers, has shorter barrel and yet doesn't go in all the way.Detail:The cable's build quality seems fine, little bit thinner than I expected, but it's fine. The problem I have is it doesn't work for it's intended use. I have a NextBook 10.1 Windows 8 Tablet, and it charges using a 2.5mm DC plug like this. I have two normal plug in chargers and they both snap in really well and charge right away.This cable barely snaps in and has some wiggle room. It only charges when I wiggle it some then hold it still when the tablet begins charging, if I let go, it stops. The barrel length is shorter than the one on the chargers, yet it won't go in all the way[sticks out slightly], maybe that's part of it? I tested with different USB ports on different computers and powered hubs as well as two different battery banks.The main reason I bought it was to use with the battery banks. I have a homemade cable I made from USB cable and a phone charger with a 2.5mm barrel connector, and it charges with it no matter what I plug it into, so it's not the computers or battery banks. I wanted a nice cable instead of my spliced cable held together with electrical tape. But this one does not do the job.

2.5mm. plug not exactly as snug as an OEM one, but this is convenient for me b/c it's a USB charger instead of just a wall charger. Can use it with any USB charger.
