Like: The quality of the socks is still high--thick and cushy and wonderful to wear (especially as house socks).Dislike: Sizing is highly variable. I bought olive color in M, x2. One was 1/2-3/4 inch longer, heel to toe, than the other, with the same difference from heel to top of cuff. Also, tighter at the cuff than previously purchased socks. P.S., size M used to be quite a bit larger than these mediums. My usual shoe size is 8.

These pulled their first wear - I ended up trying to pick them off while I was out on a trail. These are not well knitted fabric, they feel more like poly/rayon and don’t even hold up through the first wear. I really like the color and that’s what I was looking for but I need better quality than this.

They are soft, cushy, thick, supportive, warm in winter, great for hiking all year, wash like a dream, great colors ... and not tight in the toes, which I love. They are also more durable that their competitors have been in recent years - gone are the days when my Smartwool socks would last for 10-15 years, now I'm lucky if I make it through one season before heels wear holes and thickness dissipates. These Maggie's are holding up!

I purchased these socks because I've had another pair in a different color for years and appreciate how well they fit, feel, and last. However, this pair feels like a much loser weave that I doubt will last as well. They are still comfortable and I hope they will serve me well.

Having tried various brands with 70-80 percent wool blends, I decided to try these back in 2017. I have tried many more since, and these still remain my favourite, by far. They are far more comfortable, and non-irritating compared to ALL the other brands I have tried. They are definitely more expensive, but just like with shoes, tires, and mattresses, high quality socks are investment worthwhile to me, as I use them for many miles everyday, and my feet thank me for it. Just like an investment, these socks should be treated with care when it comes to washing and drying, and they will break in and hold up just fine.
