Swissmar Noirmont Enameled Cast-Iron 10-Piece Meat Fondue Set, Black

This works great and is extremely well made. It has an excellent look and design. This is something you'll be happy to show off if you ever have a fondue party. I didn't bother with the included fuel holder. I just bought a set of sterno gel packs from Walmart and haven't had any issues at all.I bought this for my wife for her birthday. We both love going to the melting pot but she has a very sensitive case of celiac disease. A little bit of cross contamination can set her back for days. So I got this and we haven't looked back since. There are plenty of gluten free recipes which actually test great.I literally spent over two hours searching for a fondue set before I decided to go with this one.

My husband, kids and I love to go to our local fondue restaurant. We've been going there for years and finally decided to buy not just one, but two of these. They are fantastic. They are ideal for meat, cheese or chocolate fondue. The difference with a meat fondue is that you use the stainless steel cover (shown in picture). Otherwise, we leave it off.As an added benefit to buying a cast iron pot, they retain heat very well, so I usually preheat them in the over while I'm cooking on the stove. When everything is ready, we put it in a hot pan, and set over the burner. Works great!

This is a VERY nice Fondue pot so stop wasting time reading my aimless babbling and order it already! Quality, heavy cast iron pot that is nicely enameled, handles are secure. Even the stand is built well and seemed to be cast iron also. I ordered two love them both. Oh, as an add on, look for the Swissmar Fire Gel Cans, 3-Ounce, they drop right into the fondue burner housing.

I opened the box and it was as nice as I imagined. Nice heavy cast iron in a really attractive color. Very Happy! We have always used an electric Fondue pot but I prefer this style that requires fuel and fire. Works the same as electric and you don't have to worry about that electrical cord draped across the table - eye sore!

Great all around, except I seem to have trouble keeping the fuel lit. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

This is sooooo nice! Great quality and set-up. Beautiful display as well. I got the Black and then bought one in Red for my daughter and her family.

Haven't used yet but quality is excellent. Just what was expected. Sturdy and solid and with a "classic" look in black. Forks are not flimsy as many are.

Been looking for a good quality fondu pot. These long winters w'er having was more bearable with the fondu dinners. Thank you
