Amazing value, looks great
UPDATE #3 on 4/3/24: BUY THIS DESK. Seriously. If you want a compact, decent-looking desk unit at a reasonable price, this is it. It's still hanging in there, nice and solid. The desk surface is looking a little worse for wear, but that's mostly my fault because I keep forgetting to set my water bottle on a coaster. I hit the peeling spots every now and again with a black permanent marker just to camouflage the spots. All the connections are still solid, the keyboard tray still slides fine. At this rate, I'll retire before the desk does!UPDATE #2 on 7/15/19: And here I am yet one more time. It's now 2019 and the desk is six years old. I've moved AGAIN since the last update. Still love it. Still looks great, as sturdy as the day it was assembled despite two moves. I can't say enough good about this desk. Seriously. Obviously, since I am still reviewing and recommending it. =)UPDATE 12/15/16: Here I am, three+ years later and still deliriously happy with the desk. I work at home full-time, so the desk takes a lot of use. It's just as sturdy and solid as it was the day it was first assembled. A little dustier and with a few minor water spots, but I am still very, very happy with it.I can't express how impressed I am with this desk. I recently moved into a new home and my old Steelcase desk was too big and too heavy to move. I wanted something a bit more compact and frankly, that looked nicer. My requirements were fairly simple - at least one drawer, a hutch, and a keyboard tray. After looking at many desks online and reading reviews, I selected this one. The finish was a bit darker than I had wanted, but otherwise it sounded fine.I admit that my expectations were pretty low. I'd purchased computer desks before and was sadly disappointed by the crappy quality of the packaging and the components themselves. Well boy howdy, NOT THIS DESK.It arrived in a flat pack. I have NO idea how the delivery person got the package from the truck to my porch alone, because it's heeeeeavy. My husband and teen son had to open the box and get the pieces upstairs a few at a time. One corner of the box was a bit crushed, so I was expecting a bit of internal damage, but was pleasantly surprised to find that each piece was fitted carefully and protected by foam. Every single piece was perfect. Not a single scratch anywhere. The next step was to get organized and lay all the pieces out. Each piece was clearly marked by a part number on an easy-removable sticker. The screws and bolts were separated into individual bags and marked with the part numbers. They even thoughtfully provide a little tube of wood glue (which I didn't end up using, favoring hubby's heavy-duty wood glue instead). The directions were clearly written and illustrated. And unbelievably, every single piece lined up perfectly. I assembled the desk myself over a period of two days, in a total of about six hours. I needed some help to move the desk and hutch (separately) into place and attach them, but that was about it.I've been using the desk for about two weeks now and couldn't be happier. It's nice and sturdy, and looks great. It's a good combination of style and function that works well in my home office. My only complaint, if I had to make one, is that the manufacturer doesn't offer this desk in another color. The dark wood finish (not quite black, but the next closest thing) is a dust magnet. i just keep a microfiber cloth in the drawer and give it a quick dust every couple of days. All in all, a great product. I am VERY happy with it all around. Packaging, looks, assembly, and function. All for a very reasonable price.

Complete Review - The Good And Bad
Ordered this desk which arrived in a "pristine box" a few days later. Delivery was on time and looked surprisingly damage-free. Heavy items made of MDF board tend to ship poorly - drops can shatter pieces, but this looked like it arrived in perfect shape.... looked like it....I cleared an area big enough to spread the contents out for assembly. There are a LOT of parts and I didn't want to rush through the assembly.**Two hours into the assembly, I was finally ready to set the desk top on the lower frame when I noticed the desktop surface was cracked (on the top side, of course). It looked like it may have been stressed when lifted as it appeared only the laminated finish was cracked.**I decided to continue the assembly and reached another issue - a critical part that was improperly drilled. Yeah, these parts are all supposed to be CNCd - programmed by a computer. Somehow, the program not only drilled the part incorrectly, but passed it when the parts were being placed into the carton for sale/shipping. At that point, I couldn't go any further with the assembly. (I already disassembled the old desk, had the contents scattered around my place and the old desk in pieces in the garage).I went through the instructions and remaining parts to ensure they were all there - and made correctly. THEN I called the Bush Furniture Support Line for help. (Bush doesn't want customers to go back through the seller, they ask you to call their support line instead. This ends up being a GREAT way to trouble-shoot problems much quicker and with less nonsense for the buyer.)David S at Support was very helpful, knew what steps to take to verify the purchase, identify the problems, order the replacement parts, and get them out to me quickly. He said I should allow 5-10 business days for the parts to ship.....Okay. Now my place and desk assembly is in limbo indefinitely.8 days into the wait for notification from Support, I got a text from FedEx that a package was due to be delivered on "day 10". Pleasant surprise. Of course when the box arrived and looked like it was at the bottom of every truck it rode one, I expected the worst. Surprisingly, the two parts were perfect.I completed assembly of the desk and finally got my place back to presentable condition.Summary,**Original shipping was timely. Can't blame anyone with certainty for the cracked part - the mis-drilled part was on Bush.**Expect to spend three hours putting this desk together. There are a LOT of parts, but the desk is engineered very well - tolerances are excellent and instructions are detailed and clear.**Dimensions are as advertised. The desk is very nice and when properly assembled, VERY sturdy and looks great. The drawer hardware is very good.***Plan on getting some extra wood glue - the tube that comes with the hardware is a bit too small to do the entire job. I used Titebond with great results.***IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, contact Support - the contact info is on a separate sheet AND on the front page of the assembly instructions. The finished product is high quality.I'm not a fan of "engineered wood" or laminated finishes. HOWEVER the quality of this desk is similar to anything you'll get in most furniture stores. You'd have to spend between 5 and 10 times the price to get a similar desk made as well out of solid wood by a furniture builder.I understand things go wrong from time to time. Nothing in life is perfect.Bush has a system in place to "make it right" when things go wrong. That's all most of us can expect and they got "five stars" for "making it right" quickly.Would I do it all again? Yup.

Beautiful, worth it, finish scratches easily
Love this desk! Size is great. And it is A beautiful design, perfect for my space. And so far it is very durable. It was easy to put together, however it took a very long time. Small flaws (which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars)… Finish is very easily scratched. It’s not a strong polyurethane type. It is more of a matted finish. It is very pretty though. The bottom cabinet does not have a shelf. So I had to buy some thing to put inside so it would be more efficient for storage.

Stunning - fantastic table
The measurements were wrong in the Amazon listing so I went on the Bush furniture website and saw it’s a 47” wide which is exactly what I needed - easy to put together and very sturdy. Highly recommend.

Great desk
I was a little worried because the box arrived so beat up and you could see parts of the desk through the holes in the box, but nothing was damaged inside. It was a little overwhelming unpacking everything because there are so many pieces, but the instructions were pretty easy to follow and everything was labeled well. Assembly took a while. I did the majority of the assembly alone, but there are a couple of steps where it helps to have one person to hold things in place while another person secures them.Once assembled and in place, the desk is pretty sturdy. I would be careful moving it to another location because dragging it might put too much stress on the assembled joints. The cabinet door was easy to adjust to the proper alignment and the drawers operated fine without any adjustment. I might add a shelf or something inside the cabinet because it is a very large space. Overall, the desk looks nice and is just what I was looking for.

It was Easy to Build
We bought this desk for my husband’s computer. It fits perfectly into the corner. I love the look. It is larger than the previous desk that was there but it actually makes the room look larger. The instructions that came with it made it very easy to put together. It is a two person build though so be aware of that.
