Levi's Men's 550 Relaxed Fit Jeans (Also Available in Big & Tall)

The pair of jeans I received, was already faded. I was expecting jeans as in the photo, aka not faded. I may have missed option choices, but the picture was what I was expecting. Otherwise, I am a fan of Levi's and they are the only jeans I buy.

For all those that complain about the quality, What color did you buy? I have learned the hard way that it color makes a big difference in quality. Doing actual a stone washing is expensive. I think often they use a fabric that already looks stone washed. It is often much lighter weight to make it feel softer to. Some of the dark streaky ones are even worse. Stick with the plain rinsed finish and wear it in naturally.If you can find it, raw denim is even better. These have a lot of starch in them and are very stiff to begin with. It takes several washings to get most of the starch out. These are more like the original blue jeans. They wear in the best. Rinsed is supposed to be washed enough to get the starch our but again, I think they cheat and use a fabric that is already soft.I have been starting with raw or rinsed for year. I find I often tell the difference between real warn in blue jeans and fake warn in blue jeans.

I struggle to find Mr. MVP blue jeans. He is 6 feet tall and has a (sorry my love) bubble butt and big thighs that come with running and biking. We tried the athletic fit Levi's and those were okay, but they fit too much like skinny jeans which on his body type just does not look right.I always go for the darkest wash and these jeans are 100% cotton which I love. They fit beautifully. They are not too tapered at the leg and they don't hug his thigh and butt area so much that it becomes inappropriate.He liked these jeans too, and with a work conference coming up I ordered two more pairs because they will be easy to dress up or down with a shirt and tie or a sweater.I wash them in cold water separately and line dry them overnight, so there has been no shrinking. They are a heavier denim, so I expect to get a few complaints that he is too hot, but it will be snowing soon and he will be glad he has them.

These Jeans are a weird design. The waist and back are perfect but, the front at the thigh and knees cling and bind to your leg. I have embarrassingly skinny legs and they are too tight. A person with larger legs won’t be able to wear these. 501’s are a better, more functional choice.

Levis has really gone down in quality in the past few years. I've been wearing Levis for over 30 years and can tell that the quality has declined. This last order the pants seam different in fit and one of the jeans is actually missing a belt loop on the left side. I've contacted Levis in the past about random fit and cut of jeans and they said its because they're hand cut that there are differences??? I dont get it, clearly if they are still cutting by hand the templates used doesn't change so... Great American product gone down hill, very disappointed in Levis. They didn't even care to offer a remedy, it was like hey, take it or leave it. That's not good customer service.

This was a repeat order for same jeans. Levi's last longer than other brand I was using. Amazon price was competitive especially since I did not have to drive to a department store to find exactly what I wanted.

Bought these jeans for my husband and he loves them.
