Swissmar de Buyer Black Carbon Steel Crepe Pan, 8.75", Gray

First of all, I did not order THIS pan. The pan I ordered was a deByer, and I already reviewed that pan with which I was not pleased because it warped when heated and was not flat to make contact with the surface of my induction cooktop.

Just the pan you need to cook perfect crepes. I like the weight of this pan and the versatility.

Does not work as expected. Tried to make crepes and pancakes. But they stick to the surface. Our old iron cast pan worked much better.Furthermore, description kind of confusing. It says iron as material. But pan is not iron cast. It looks more like carbon steel.

It's a perfect crepe pan. Size is just right. It's a bit on a heavy side and handle gets hot after a while. All the other crepe pans warped after some use, but this one stays flat on a glass/ceramic stove.

Be nicer to be bit larger. But great pan love it.

Wow! Quite a pan! Haven't seen such thick steel since I don't remember when. Haven't got the chance to actually test it witg some old fashioned tasty crepes, but soooon... And by the looks of it, I have high expectations. This pan looks like it's made to be intensly used by several generations. 👌

This has been my go to for so many things. Crepes,pancakes,grilled cheese sandwiches,eggs,sausages with a lid,salmon cakes and more. Easy to clean and food does not stick.
