Southeastern Mills Country Gravy Mix, 2.75 oz

I bought 4 packet of this Southeastern Mills Country Gravy Mix, 2.75 oz.WHY I ORDERED THIS:- I like to have dry foods, dry mixes and gravy packets on hand in my Pantry for emergencies because we get snowed-in, sometimes for a week or two, every Winter where we live.THE GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS:- I decided to make a packet this morning to go over the tops of our Hash Browns, Chicken Fried Steak and Egg breakfast. Boy-oh-boy was it delicious!- This Country Gravy is also very delicious over Biscuits too! Who can resist Biscuits and Country Gravy!- Good if you have some crumbled sausage to add too. I add vegan sausage since we don't eat pork.- Great for SOS over toast too (SOS - Chipped beef in Gravy).- And, this Gravy Mix was super easy to make, starting with cold water!THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS:- Nothing, except that it might be a bit addictive. Can't eat biscuits without it now!CONCLUSION:- There so many things we can do with this, so it will now be a staple in our pantry!- I'm back to buy more, as we will probably use this at least once a week, as our new guilty pleasure!- So... YUM, YUM, go get ya some!

I had to use 2 packets and that's fine it makes very good gravy it's seasoned very well I like dipping from a biscuits in the gravy It is that goodI used it on mashed potatoes with fried chicken it also was very good that way.Next I'm going to try it on chicken fried steak I think it will be excellent! By the way I am a professional chef by trade Now retire retired!In my opinion this is very good gravy I recommend it to anyone.

I've tried more than one gravy mix and this one beats the rest. It comes out nice and thick and has more real gravy flavor than the others I've gotten. Great addition to any dinner where you want a good white gravy.

Comes out thick and slightly spicy. Great over biscuits at breakfast.

I buy a few packages of this every few months. I like to keep stocked up since we eat this gravy over a number of different dishes - not just biscuits or for breakfast. Easy to prepare, just takes water. Great flavor and texture. You can't go wrong for a quick easy country gravy.

this is hands down the best cream gravy, almost as good as mom's.

What more could you want? It gets a little thick as it cools, so I usually add more water or milk. The gravy has the perfect amount of pepper. It truly is delicious.

The biscuits r tender & yummy, rising tall like dinner rolls almost, but not the style of biscuits I prefer. The soft flour is southern style, but I want crispy/crunchy outsides & tender INSIDE, just my preference There r buttery “flavored” pieces in the mix itself, it’s easy & convenient, only problem was mine came with weevils, so I had to sift them out, then I put the entire bag in the freezer to kill any stragglers ! I’ll use it eventually, it will not be wasted !
