The picture shows a partial elastic waistband, which is correct. Further down in the description, it states the waist can be adjusted with button pulls, which these pants do not have! The pants themselves are pretty nice, but the belt is not great - doubt it will last. Good for Boy Scouts as long as they wear the Scout belt instead. Cost half a much as the official Scout pants, although, they are much thinner and can't be directly compared.

These appear to be really nice pants; I like that they come with a belt. They do run small. My son is 5 years old, 45 lbs, small waist, and normally wears a 4T in shorts and 4/5 in pants but these were too tight in the waist for him. One size up would have fit him.

These are a great replacement pant for scouts. My son got paint all over his scout pants during a project and needed a new pair. Decided to give this a try to save myself a few bucks. Glad I did!
