Goes on smooth, but can be sticky. An edge control gel should keep the edges where it's applied slick back/straight, however it doesn't, in fact it makes them even more curly. It doesn't last very long, not even 8 hours. Luckily you don't have to wash it out you can just brush or comb it throughout your hair, but you definitely have to re-apply it again either the same day after a couple of hours or the next day. It causes more buildup after a while than PATTERN Beauty by Tracee Ellis Ross Edge Control.

I love how this product keeps my hair moisturized as I do lay my edges on a weekly & sometimes daily basis. I can count on this product to stay secure without drying out or leaving any flakes behind. I appreciate the bouncy, lightweight consistency in this product. It also has a beautiful natural scent & the ingredients promote healthy hair care & growth.

I am a black woman with natural 4C hair. This product has been one of very few that works well when I need to use it for a ponytail or simply laying down any fray hairs around my crown.

This edge hair product goes on well. Not too sticky but kind of greasy. It does not hold edges well; however, I believe this is a good thing because it just ends up making my 4C hair soft and curlier. It’s most likely better for your hair then some other ones that glue it down.
