Dahle #50044 Professional Scissors 4 Inch

These are the best paper scissors I've ever purchased. I use these for cutting patterns and for details making cards. When my old Fiskars broke I was going to replace with like kind scissors from Target, when it occurred to me they were just average and I'd have them for a number if years. I found this brand on Amazon and was a little hesitant to commit because of a negative review. However, one can't go wrong with A's great return policy, so I purchased both the 6" and the 4" and am very happy I did. These are in a different league than Fiskars. Wish I'd known about these earlier. So glad my scissors bit the dust! Life's too short not to have a great pair scissors. I use exceptional scissors for sewing, now I do too with paper.ps The 4 inches includes handles, so they are surprisingly small, but work well for my small hands.

First I have to thank Mybinding.com who is the actual seller for their great customer service and help in getting the item I needed within the time frame I had to work within. Second, the scissors have that precise feeling and excellent quality you expect from German manufacturers. The 4 inch is small and suitable for travel if you need something lightweight to put in your briefcase. For home I'd probably go for the 6 inch. Best art paper scissors on the market in my opinion and well worth the extra cost. Lasts forever unless you really misuse it - which is hard to do.

They are okay. I expected something a little more professional looking.

Dahle makes a great line of scissors in different lengths. I have purchased several pair and they are all top quality.

I used to work in an art supply store and the local graphic design studios would buy these. The quality is on par with good chef knives both in weighting & sharpness.
