Good Product For The Prepper But Overpriced!
If you're prepper, I'd definitely recommend these. The quality of these are as top notch as they can possibly be. The cream of wheat, coffee, milk, pancakes are what you would expect from shelves off the grocery store, with the exception that these have oxygen absorbers in every pack, and they are packed in very well sealed, air-tight pouches. I obviously can't access if these will last 30 years, but from the looks of it, they likely will. Now, the full eggs I'm quite surprised with. I've never had these before. Reconstituted, they don't look anything like scrambled eggs at all -- more like a mustard colored watery paste. However, after I cooked them up, they do *somewhat* have the consistency of freshly scrambled eggs. They have a tan / light brown color. These really do taste like scrambled eggs, but not as springy and definitely not as delicious. However, the taste is... perfect acceptable, especially in a survival situation. The nutrition info is listed on every packet. The calorie information definitely helps with planning your meals. Cooking directions are also on every pouch.Currently at 140.00, these are overpriced in my opinion -- my only gripe. Prices are volatile, and thus not factored into the rating.

Breakfast emergency food
It’s hard to write a review on something that has not been taste tested yet. But, It’s nice to have something different for breakfast other than oatmeal. However, the amount of servings seems to be less than ideal, especially for the cost of it in my opinion.

My prep basics bucket is good for 10 years
The packaged date vs the Best if used by date on my purchase leaves 9 years , The ad should explain the dated can when advertising 30 years. It should read good for a few years after you get it depending on when it was made.We plan to replace ours in 8 . Our grandson will use it.

Deceiving description
Item arrived after being replaced for the same missing items. Eggs and coffee. These are the ONLY reason I bought this pail over augason farms other named breakfast pail. Which is $20 cheaper.Items do not exist and amazon says I can not get a refund. So be careful. You pay for what you want but they send you what THEY want.Until they figure out the contents issue I will not reorder from augason farms. Prep basic label.

Tasted fine, small quantity of meals
We tried just a few of the items--the strawberry cream of wheat, which the kids loved--for my wife it was too artificial in taste. The pancake package made only about 4 average size pancakes--again the kids loved the taste. The container is really well sealed, but seems large for the amount of food supply contained inside. It seems a small amount inside for the size of the container. Nevertheless, as an emergency food supply, it's a good idea to have a decent stash of ready to make food, to plan for the unexpected, and keep them stored away in a cool, dry place. The remainder of the unopened packages we will store away, but not in the bucket, as it was a lot of empty space. But good for storing extra emergency meals if you have them, or other items.
