Price can’t be beat on name brand
This was a lot cheaper than my own cost with a commercial account at a big box auto parts store. Been on the truck a year driving 30 miles each way down a dirt road for almost a year now. Still solid, just keep your stuff greased every oil change and should last a while. Moog is the best you’ll get for these older trucks. Vehicle is a 1994 Chevy K1500HD

Seems to be built well and fit the existing idler. All hardware was in the box. Grease fitting was a pita to get started. If you are having problems with the idler spindle turning when tightening the new arm to the spindle just push it all the way up on to the spindle then put it in a bind, run the nut with an impact, worked well for me.

Idler arm
After replacing no more play in the steering, also replace the idler arm pivot bracket

I installed this on my 1995 Chevy K2500 6-lug and didn't have any problems installing it. It has been a few months since installing it, and with over 1000 miles, it has held up just fine. I did grease it with mystic JT-6 before driving the truck. I will update later if anything bad happens to it.

Moog products are the best!
As my other reviews state, I first began using Moog suspension parts over forty years ago. They manufacture their parts to basically “pick up where the OEM fell short.” For four decades, Moog has been my go-to source for anything suspension or steering related. This idler arm far surpasses the OEM or nay other aftermarket design. Not only does the design allow for lubrication, but allows one to flush out contaminants in the process. Great part!

Nice replacement option..
Bought this along with a few other components to rebuild the front end on my Tahoe and the part worked out great. It is a perfect fit and appears to be a quality replacement option. I have used Moog components for years and never had a single problem...

MOOG is a great Product!
This Idler arm part is alot stronger than original product, better handling and was better to install with the Steering Idler Arm Bracket, i did this out in my drive way, in 4 hours of time, also added note, try putting the greaser needle in before installing the part, it works better that way then laying on the ground and doing it!

Missing part
I'm not a mechanic. I bought this Idler Arm a few weeks ago, and finally took it to my mechanic to have a look at what needs to be done. He opened the box and this is what was in it. Two things are wrong. That funny looking nut is WAY TOO BIG to fit, but as you can see in photo, he had one of his own to replace it. You can see the new one, and the rusted old one we are going to use. We are also missing the foam washer which helps keep the dirt out. That is all I want to ask for, is the washer. I looked everywhere on the Amazon site to send an email to ask about this ONE washer, but nothing!! I didn't want to make a big deal about it, but it's frustrating. My only option is to come on here and give a negative post. I've ordered many times without issues, and hopefully this will get the attention I need, but compared to other sites, Ebay, for an example, I can easily contact the shipper and solve the problem. Here, I can't "contact". This is my way of contacting? If I'm doing it wrong, please let me know. Thank you. I JUST WANT THE WASHER.
