Worked fine back was soldered. Seemed better built than the one from wally world. Longevity to be determined.

If you need a splitter for cable or free TV this will work. It also works if you decide to replace the rental cable modem with the cable company to save the rental fee by adding a your own modem. Just remember you will be using this side for the cable internet and the other will go to the cable modem for telephony.

Had this item for a little over a month and it no longer works, the item is defective.

Worked fine. I needed this to setup my own modem instead of renting from TWC. I used it between their box and my modem, I needed to keep their box for my phone.

Needed to split the cable TV line to accommodate two modems and this did the job.

Does what it is supposed to. I use it to split cable to my router and to my Sillicondust HDHomeRun Prime.
