Sterling Silver HistoryExperts believe that silver alloy, used today as sterling silver, originated in continental Europe in the 12th century. Pure silver was found to be a soft and easily damageable material. When combined with other metals, most commonly cooper, it produced a tougher material that could be heavily relied on. Throughout the next few centuries, sterling silver was used as currency and for household items. It was often used as silverware and became the material used in a proper table setting between 1840 and 1940 throughout the United States and Europe. Because of this popularity, silver companies began to grow. During this craze, companies began to experiment using sterling silver compositions in jewelry, as it was a material that was easy to mold into intricate designs and gave a luxurious look with its metallic finish. Today, sterling silver is widely used in all kinds of jewelry styles and shines as beautifully as other precious metals, with the benefit of affordable pricing.Sterling Silver CompositionWhile pure silver can be combined with many different types of metals, sterling silver is created when combining pure silver with copper. Sterling silver jewelry can be composed with different amounts of copper but is most often seen with the .925 stamp, meaning that the composition is of 92.5 percent silver and 7.5 percent copper. This has been found to be a good combination for maintaining the silver's durability without harming its sparkle.Caring for Your Sterling Silver JewelrySilver should not come into contact with harsh household chemicals such as bleach, ammonia, or chlorine. To avoid scratches, store silver in a lined jewelry box or pouch, as it is prone to tarnish as it naturally reacts with sulfur or hydrogen sulfide in the air. Cleaning and wearing silver jewelry regularly will prevent this and help maintain its shine. Immediately upon noticing any discoloration, use a gentle polish made specifically for removing tarnish.

Nice quality
This was purchased as a bridal shower gift for my best friend, and she loved it! It doesn't look cheap or flimsy, and the text is easy to read and doesn't look tacky. The bracelet has a slim, subtle look; it isn't overly shiny, clunky, or gaudy. It's the perfect mix of delicate and sturdy, perfect for every day wear. There aren't any sharp edges on it, so it won't catch on anything as you work. It was a little bit large on my wrist, but fit my friend's well and it felt like it could have been bent slightly to fit me if I had bought it for myself. (My wrists aren't super tiny or anything, but bangle bracelets always tend to be at least a little too big on me anyways, so I was expecting that.) Overall very pleased with the quality and the price!

This is the perfect gift. Stacking Silver bracelets is very in right ...
I have purchased 5 of these bracelets over the last nine months or so and plan on buying at least 4 more. The quality and price are spot on. I wear mine 24/7 and it is very durable. This is the perfect gift. Stacking Silver bracelets is very in right now but this is lovely on its own as well. Highly recommend the Amazon collection silver. Its quality you can trust.

Like others said it is small writing and thin band
Like others said it is small writing and thin band. But I feel like this gives it a more simple, elegance look and feel. I got it for my best friend and she loved it! Be careful because since it is thin, it can bend easy. She accidentally got it caught on a rogue piece of bedding and it did bend. She was able to bend it back in to place and was good as new! A great looking piece of jewelry for someone you care about :)

Excellent bracelet!
I bought this as a gift for my best friend who is like a sister to me. I was pleasantly happy with the quality and beauty of this bracelet. My friend loves it so much, that she wears it every day. She said she loves the size of it because she can barely feel it on her wrist. It really shines. I'd like one for myself that is similar.

Beautiful, but very soft sterling
Positives are that the bracelet is dainty & beautiful. Negatives are that it's hard to read the inscription, & the silver is extremely soft & pliable. Not what you want in a piece of jewelry. I gifted it to a friend for her birthday, who is also moving far away, so the message on the bracelet meant a great deal. She ended up losing it on her birthday night out. I'm sure it got caught up on something since it was so bendable, & she never felt it fall off. I was extremely sad it was lost.

I purchased this for my best friend, have not given it to her yet
I purchased this for my best friend, have not given it to her yet, still struggling with the shape of it...it is beautiful and very shiny, just not sure if you are suppose to bend the bracelet to have it fit better?? Just seems big for a small wrist

It is a thin and dainty bracelet. I know ...
It is a thin and dainty bracelet. I know people have had trouble reading the words but they are very legible to me.
