Very well made. Just what I wanted to store 35mm slides after digitization.

A few years ago I bought some acid-free container sets (five long individual boxes within a square box) that held a few hundred photographic slides for archiving after scanning them. I recently went to buy one more set and it was double the price. Its not clear to me if these are archival, but they are study and much, much cheaper than the sets.

Good sturdy quality boxes for coins would buy again

Using these boxes you can store 8 carousels worth of slides in the space of one carousel. Each box fits 2 80-slide carousels with about 1/2” of space leftover at the end. So not enough space for the slides to fall over and get out of order and also enough space so you don’t have to jam the last few in. Also, just enough room side to side so you don’t have to jam them in.

I went through boxes upon boxes of old slides from my grandparents and parents. I kept the slides I wanted and now store the slides in these boxes. The boxes work perfect and are sturdy.

This set of cardboard boxes is being used to store the old slides that my husband does not want to toss. We have several thousand slides all stored in Kodak Carousels and since the projector is broken, it's time to scan them. So that's been my project. It's hard to say how many Carousels per box because i am throwing away the slides of landscapes and non-family people. The rest are being stored in these boxes which take up so much less room, can be labeled clearly and are sturdy enough for the job. i'm also inserting paper markers at certain events/dates just for our reference. And i need more! Still got about 30 Carousels to go . . .
