My 11 year old loves this
I bought this for my son who is crazy about trains, he loves it. It was easy to install and he has played it daily.

Can.t get it to install correctly
It requires internet to finish the install. The interenet shows many other games that the company has published but not the one needed to complete the install. Right now the game is useless to us. The help file does not help.

great sim now that i have sound at last!
i loved the other two titles in the world of subways series and this was well looked forward to, loading took some time and as has been said on other reviews the serial number has to be entered twice, or in my case several times as it was not valid ?? , then on the 8th time success, graphicly it runs well and looks superb, i can`t help but be impressed by the ammount of work that has gone into this sim, the attention to detail is amazing, the only pity is lack of sound not a thing and nothing i have tried will get the sound to work , everything else works fine but there is just no sound, shame, others have said that this is a limited playtime game but i suppose if like me you have an interest in the underground and subways in general (as long as i can get some sound) this could go on for a while , since the first part (new york path) it is easy to see the refinements that have occured and how much more polished and slick this is , i wonder if there will be a number 4 and where in the world that will be and will that have any sound ???????mind the doors !!!!!!!!!!!!updatesent two e-mails to the customer service contact address and so far have had no answer back i have tried with the sound plugged in and no sound (surprise) and then with it plugged in and still no sound, also have tried other sims and games and they all have sound, so am i wrong in guessing it could be the program itself, anyone have any thoughts please leave a comment belowstill no word from customer services so i sent off two more e-mails asking for help but i won`t hold my breath waiting for a reply, all these so called customer help/support contact thingys are the same, they never answer when the customer needs help once they have your moneyupdate updateat last i have sound don`t know how or why but after trying to update a "run time" thingy and then having to uninstall a couple of progs because it stopped them working, i reinstalled the prog and then i had sound and it makes a big difference to the whole thing adding atmosphere and improves the whole experience but with no thanks to customer service at excalibur

Decent Game....but not Amazing
This is a decent game for someone who loves the London Underground and wants to see what it is like to drive one of the trains!I find the game play is good and the graphics are also good. Being a simulator focused, there are times when you will see weird graphical issues like people walking through doors since most of the focus was on the train cabs and make them authentic looking. This game could use a better tutorial mode. It isn't immediately obvious, upon starting the game for the first time, how to access the training. Instead, training is buried under "Missions".Even after you complete the training, there are times having a "help" mode would be useful because there will be times when you can't make your train move and you don't have any idea why. As a result you restart the game. The sounds and graphics are good, but not totally suited to be played on a laptop given the dark nature of the underground and blacks not always showing well on laptop screens.

"Mind the gap" - great fun!
I bought it as a present for my eldest son: we ended up playing it together, finding out how it works. We love the beautiful attention to detail and the way you can walk around the stations and through the carriages. The sounds and graphics are great, including all the proper announcements. You can take it very seriously and drive a proper schedule, or you can have bit of fun tearing through the stations. The only slight criticism I have is the way the driver moves his head about rather drunkenly when you're trying to look at something - not quite sure what that's about!

Very impressive
Very impressive graphics, and realistic motion physics. It does need good graphics handling from your computer. I run it on a 1.6Ghz quad core (AMD A8 chip) laptop with Radeon dual graphics and it runs extremely well, but does lag a few frames every now and then, but then they do recommend a much faster chip than this. Easy to use, even I can control the train reasonably well and I am not a gamer. It is a simulation and a very accurate one, many purchasers think it is a game and whilst there is a games element in the missions it is primarily a simulation.

no clear instructions on running this game
after a lot of time I managed to get the driver in the cab but just cannot get the train to move, reckon I am doing something wrong but I don't know what and no clear instructions
