Yes my granddaughter loooooves it. It’s all cheap plastic but the necklace part is sturdy. She wears it all the time.

Not sure exactly, but some kind of silver. It did break not long after we bought it and I replaced it one of mine.

Q: Is this appropriate for an almost three year old?

I purchased this for my three year old granddaughter, but only let her wear it under close supervision. It's like an adult necklace, very pretty.

Q: Is this a December birth stone?

No. December birthstone is blue Zircon or light sapphire. Both blue stones
