Solid Scope and Great Value
Nice sharp image and has done well in low light situations. The turrets are crisp, audible, and accurate. It has one of the best and simplest zero stops I've used. I believe this scope is easily comparable to the Vortex PST Gen 2, but at a much better price point. It's also lighter and more compact than the PST Gen2. It does have a tighter "eye box" than some other scopes so you'll want to be sure to have it positioned correctly for you. Very happy with this purchase.

great clarity and build quality
I mounted this to a cooper. at 100-200 yards, I noticed very good target clarity and plenty bright on cloudy days. The build quality seems very good compared to my Leupolds. Would buy again.

Great scope but reticle too fine for me.
I like to shoot Leupolds with the fine duplex reticle. This reticle is much finer that Leupold fine duplex. It can be hard to align the reticle especially on colored targets. If I told you how old I was you would say “you are the problem not the reticle”. I also have no use for reticle that look like a street map of NYC. Other than that for my target shooting it’s a great value.

hard to tell the difference between my vortex and this
hard to tell the difference between my vortex and this. my vortex was well over double the price with the same zoom and optics size. Will only be purchasing Athlon for my needs from now on.

Old eyes will struggle
I like this scope for many of its features, but I am far sighted. The horizontal cross hair looked like two cross hairs with my eyes. Years ago I switched to VX 5 and 6 scopes because I didn’t have to wear readers when I shot. I hoped this scope would be the same with HD glass, but I was disappointed. It also has a small field of view.Other than that I like the design. The zero stop and firm clicks for wi Dave and elevation are great. The glass was clear and it appeared like a quality product. With a couple improvements, I would try this scope again, but it’s for young eyes.

Decent glass
Rely good glass, it's not S/B quality but neither is the price. Turrets are exceptional! Reticle is usable. Must importantly it holds zero. Quality is on par with scopes costing 2x as much!
