Q: looking for model number for skis for older model 4 man shappel ice shanty

i have a 2man shed the 3000 the ski model 3 for that model is sk3000

Q: How do the skis attach and are they easy to remove once you get to your fishing spot?

The ski's attach with sturdy metal brackets that slide into a few holes you drill in the underside of the shanty. Your shanty should already have little "dimples" molded into it to indicate where to drill. The ski's quickly fold up or down when you need them and are held in the down position with little cotter pins. The kit is great and makes a huge difference in moving it through snow. You wont be sorry putting them on. The ski's fold flat when you dont need them and are completely out of the way without having to remove them.
