This is my first time reviewing a product on Amazon. I am so pleased with this purchase that I had to do it. In planning my birthday high tea party with my closet girlfriends, the hat I chose to wear was analogously the icing on the cake! After reading the reviews and viewing the photos of other fashionistas that purchased this statement piece, I took a chance! And I am glad I did! Photos do not do justice for this piece. The colors are so vibrant and the material is light weight and dainty. If ever I attend another event such as this, I know exactly where to come!

This is out of my comfort zone but find it too feel like an easy transition into classier attire. It's also my back up hat for a Derby party, which I think it will suffice just nicely if need be. Really enjoying the hat! It did come squashed from being shipped but it bounced back just fine. Durable yet elegant hat.

Very nice, great price but not as full and pretty as the picture suggests. Can't complain about the price but if you want what is in the photo you may be disappointed. I don't have time to find another, I need it for Tuesday and it came today, Sunday. The flower is much further back on hat, the band is sewn on and the flower has a bit of Velcro as does the band, however, you can't move it from the spot it sits, and there is a very obvious seam that prevents you from shifting the flower closer to the side as it looks on model in photos

I got this hat for my mother-in-law for my daughters "Tea for Two" birthday party this weekend. It is a pretty shade of red, it fit as expected and went very well with her party dress. The price for the quality was a total steal! I definitely recommend this hat for special occasions like the Kentucky Derby or tea party themed parties/showers.

I loooove this hat! I just got it (ordered it with faster shipping because I need it for Derby Day tomorrow!) I ordered several hats that match outfits I could wear and I decided that I would pick the perfect hat first and that would determine the outfit I would wear. I pulled this hat out of a 2 gallon sized ziplock bag. It was shipped in a padded envelope but I think that's better than a box. The hats that came in boxes were forced into the boxes so that the brim wires were literally squared off. This one "floated" in a large padded envelope. It had about a 2" thick piece of bubble wrap on the inside top of the crown. This definitely helped keep the crown rounded with a sharp edge around the top (no wrinkles). I looked at some of the hats that came in the boxes and could see wasting A LOT of time steaming, shaping and bending brim wires to get them looking decent. THIS one literally popped up into a perfect shape (including the organza loops - and even the thin black feathers)! This black hat with multicolored edging around the organza ruffles will go well with the black dress I picked it for. The rest of the hats are going back! One thing to think about - I made up my mind to go to this party on Wednesday. I just figured a fabulous hat would be an impossibility. But I just randomly did a search on Amazon and was SHOCKED at all the results!!! But the My Fair Lady Ascot Races pink and black hat that I REALLY wanted was not shipped from the Amazon warehouse when it should have been! So, I am so glad I ordered black hats in 2 different designs and accent colors. So ordering a few is definitely my advice! As for the pink and black - I am kinda hoping it doesn't live up to my expectations because THIS one is really pretty. Oh, well. There's always next year to be My Fair Lady!

I wore this hat to a Kentucky Derby cocktail party and it looked great with my black and white maxi dress. It was the perfect hat for the event and I was glad I had ordered it. However, I doubt I will use it a lot since it's so large and noticeable. The head size is adjustable which helped stabilize this large hat on my head.The hat was packaged well and arrived in good condition. The company, Beautify Your Life, did an excellent job job of getting it to me quickly, well in advance of the party. I would order from Beautify Your Life again.

I ordered this hat in both red and white to wear for Easter. They arrived quickly, and I immediately knew that the red one was perfect for my dress. I felt great wearing it, and received so many compliments! There are just a few (minor) cons: First, the hat is shipped flattened. This isn't a huge problem, as it shapes fairly well, BUT because I needed to wear it soon after arrival and because it is a little large for my head, one part of the top kept trying to collapse back in. I think that once I store the hat with some newspaper or something helping to better shape the top of the hat, this will resolve itself. The only other thing is that, due to the one part of the hat that didn't seem to want to hold its shape, I wanted to wear the hat with the flower toward my left temple as opposed to on the right as shown by the model. The hat truly looked better shaped that way, BUT that placed the seam of the hat front and center. Again, once I'm able to shape the hat a little better/longer, I'll be able to turn the hat the way it should probably have been turned to begin with, but I wasn't able to for that first wearing. To summarize - this is a great hat for the price and I would definitely order again, but would want to have it far enough in advance to be able to shape it for more than just a couple of days.
