This stuff is amazing.It's my first lip stain, and I bought it because I go out a lot and have to forgo lipstick because it'll just end up gone or all over my face because of singing or drinking or kissing. Before I had ever tried lip stain I believed it to be something that could go on my lips and stay there, almost like if I were to draw on my lips with a sharpie. This is what I got. I've since tried other stains that just don't do it. They either don't stain at all, or are basically a sheer lipstick that still feels present on my lips and transfer on everything.This doesn't do any of that. It feels funny and sticky before it dries, but feels fine after the layer of balm. YOU HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO use this on bare lips - no moisturizer or anything. If your lips need care, condition them a while before putting this on. First time wearing this I thought it felt a little strange and dry, like the tightness of your skin right after washing your face,but you get used to it, and I find after removing it my lips don't feel damaged from it.I use olive oil to remove this and it comes right off. After this sets, I can rub my lips as much as I want and it wont move at all and lasts until I take it off hours later. I've slept in this and woken up with it intact the next morning. It comes off only with oil based remover, so stays put.My only complaint is that if you eat something extra greasy and don't have this on you to reapply, it looks a bit funny. What happens is the oil takes off the tiniest bit, but in the inner lips and in little patches in the rest, but it's not like normal lipstick where you could wipe it off completely if you don't have the color with your and there is really no other fix. Try to wipe this off and you won't succeed.So: the staying power could either be a really great thing, or a really bad thing. But I now get to karaoke, drink, and make out with whoever I want and look fierce at the same time, so I'm going to say it's a really, really, great thing.

I like this, its okay, I havnt used it but a few times, the first time I hated it, but Its growing on me...it comes with 2 tubes, one is like a chapstick, you apply this second, and it keeps the lipstick in place, the other is a wand, like a lipgloss wand, that is the color. the color is true to color and applies really well, I love the colors, and it doesn't smear or chap my lips ect, its a good lipstick, everything you are looking for in a lipstick.as far as the long lasting, if you apply the second part 2 mins later (which really isn't a problem to do, just do some other part of your makeup or something while you wait, the 2 mins is so that the color can dry), it will stay in place for a very long time! however, make sure that you don't have any smears and you have the color on perfect before it dries and you put the second part on, cus it is hard to get back off straight away if not. also, DO NOT APPLY A GLOSS OVER THIS! I made that mistake the first time I used it, and it got very clumpy and just made a mess! but a gloss is not really needed, I just always wear gloss, so I am used to putting it on over my lipsticks... overyall I do recommend this, there will be some people that don't like it and some that like it more than others, however it does stay in place all day, even eating and smoking, it still stays on without smearing, so that is great! I have ordered a few other colors of this as well, since it stays on and I like that about it!

Personal use lipstick

First, a warning (and the reason this is not five stars): at some point in the last year or so, L'Oreal decided to change several actual colors while keeping the same color name AND number. So if you bought this same color/number in a drugstore, the one you receive now may be completely different. And when I say "completely different," I mean they changed the colors so completely that they don't even go with the same skin tones as they did before the change. "Grenadine" is one that changed, from a cool red to an almost orange-red. "Rosebud," for another example, went from a slightly sparkly cool red to an almost-neon pink.L'Oreal: if you're going to change the color, for heaven's sake, change the number at least!Now, the actual product is wonderful. It stays on brilliantly (even overnight) and doesn't smudge off once dried. The feel can take some getting used to, as it's almost like a paint and makes your lips feel a bit dry and (sometimes) a bit sticky. The included clear gloss helps with this, but it needs to be reapplied. However, I've found that if I use any clear Chapstick-type product over it, it works almost as well. I've used products from Chapstick, Blistex, Natural Ice, Burt's Bees, and many other generic lip balms over this and they all work fine. However, you should note that the color may wear off sooner if you don't use the L'Oreal formulation. "Sooner," though, means something like six hours instead of twelve, so it's still a very good all-day product.Overall, I would give this five stars if you could reliably tell what color you were going to get from the name/number combination.Side note: When I called L'Oreal about this problem, they admitted they'd made the changes, couldn't tell me what new color was closest to the old one, and offered me a coupon. Not very satisfactory when you've finally found your perfect lip color and it is cruelly taken from you like a thief in the night. That's right, ladies, the worst of all possible first-world problems is embodied in L'Oreal's casual disregard for our lip-color needs.Other than that, great product.I'm going to go cry myself to sleep now.

I love the color of french roast L'oreal infallible lipcolor.Hopefully I will continue using the french roast color lipstick,as long I can buy it on Amazon, thats the only place that I can buy it...Thank you amazon ..........

24h a day. Don't need to worry about go to the toilet to keep putting lips it stays there even after eating. Smells nice as well. Love it

A bit disappointed cos thought this was the lipstick L'Oreal used to produce but it is actually the more modern one with a brush applicator.
