Santevia Water Systems Shower Filter

We are still not sure if this is actually doing what it says. I did receive it in a timely manner and the packaging was good. I really liked the water filtration unit we have so we wanted to check this out too since it's from the same company. I haven't noticed a huge difference. I may be working but not sure yet.July 22, 2013So initially I thought wow what a super product, we love our countertop water filtration. I never did really "feel" the difference with my hair or body as they claim. But to make matters worse almost to the week, we had to replace it according to the recommendations, it broke. Not sure if it is really worth it to be honest. It's a fun toy to say the least, I just wish it lasted a bit longer for us.

I decided to purchase this water filter because I have the santevia counter top water filter. From the first shower I could feel the difference on my skin; within a week the dryness and itchiness went away and my hair felt softer. The water itself feels amazingly soft. The filter lasted me about 3 months and then I had to change it out. I take on average 15-20 minute showers everyday. The way I knew it was time to replace the filter was because the water pressure began to subside until only a little tiny stream was coming out of my shower head (I tested the shower head by attaching it without the filter and the water stream ran fine). Im guessing this happened because the filter was clogged with debris. I love the entire santevia line of products and am satisfied with this shower filter. Oh and it's compact and small that you can take it with you on trips!

Easy to install and very helpful with my TSW (topical steroid withdrawal). Made my skin softer than it has been in a long time. I bought the water pitcher and the handheld water filter for water bottles. Works like a charm, I also tested the water after using products. Would and have been recommending!

Normally I don't write reviews but I am making an exception for this product.Last year I have bought two of these inline shower filters after using and loving the tabletop water filter from this company. I have installed these filter in two different showers and they both became projectiles after separating during a shower. I was hit in the shoulder once as a result but otherwise dodge it afterwards.I tried using it with different shower heads and settings and always found the same result with the two that I bought.Therefore I am writing to say buyer beware when using this product and for the manufacturer to come up with a better casing solution.

I am a 71 year old woman with 'old skin'This is a great product with (for me) unexpected results. I purchased it because I had heard that using alkaloid water was important for our health. I did not expect to 'see' a result. But, After few days of using the filter my skin has totally changed. It is like I dropped at least 10-20 years in age.Try it, I think you will like it.

Where I live the water is extremely hard on the hair and skin. My hair is a mess. Since I rent an apartment, I thought I would try this filter. A whole house filtration system would be best, but probably not permissible. With this filter the water is improved, but still hard. I am looking at other solutions. I bought it because of the great reviews it had.

We live in Sacramento and we have a serious "hard water" problem. Typically, we need lots of lotions and hair oils just to combat the effect on our skin/hair. After we used the santevia, there has been a significant difference. My eye's aren't blood red when I exit (chlorine) and my skin isn't dry at all. As a matter of fact, I didn't even need to use much lotion after the shower. It's amazing to have this filter. I am happy that my family has made the life choice to transition over to filtered water for daily drinking and taking showers.

I live in the desert where water quality is harsh! These have been a life saver. I used to get dry itchy skin after a shower, plus nasty chlorine and fluoride vapors from steam....and not to mention the hard water would mess with my hair color leaving that brassiness....No more issues once I started using this product. Very easy to install although take out shower head water saver valve if your shower head has one. Replace 4-6 months depending on how often and for how long one showers. I'm tempted to travel with one of these!
